Crowned as 2009 best groups, So Nyuh Shi Dae and 2PM will have a joint stage on year-end MBC Gayo Daejun. The show will be broadcasted live at 9.55 PM on 31st December.  See, it will be on 9.55 PM! It’s time for 9PM a.k.a Hottest Generation, you guys!

I know how we’ve been disappointed with all the so-called “joint-stages” on previous shows… but this one seems legit as it even has storyline *gasp!* The main character of the story will be 2PM’s Taecyeon and SNSD’s Yoona.

According to allkpop the story goes like this, “Taecyeon and Yoona have been dating secretly, they get in a fight over a small misunderstanding and Yoona starts to dodge Taecyeon’s calls. The nine girls of So Nyuh Shi Dae finally held their first ever solo concert titled Into the New World. Seriously, I can’t even think properly right now as I spazzed too much. Even the title was not mine *huge thanks to Aun and dreadtech. you know you guys are precious~*

Jaeson Ma, who’s also Tiffany + Sooyoung best friend, who was on the concert just updated this on his twitter:

The concert was out of this world ^^ so PROUD and AMAZED @ the SNSD girls passion, excellence & love for their music & fans! Amazing!

I don’t know about you guys, but I still feel bitter that I can’t be there YET at the same time I feel so happy and proud for the girls. Sigh. The concert sounds like such an epic concert. So far there’s no fancam yet, but KBS just aired a small clip regarding the concert. Watch the news coverage below, uploaded by none other than prot0350.

The girls look like they’re having a blast! Apparently the solo stages are awesome. The girls also having some sort of musical… with kid leader Taeyeon as a frog! LOL (Messy post is messy, but it’s worth it…)

As I’m typing this, it’s now already past 9 am of December 19th 2009 in South Korea. That means it’s less than 10 hours to go to SNSD’s 1st Asia Tour : Into the New World. It’s the D-Day, guys! Haha I still can’t believe our beloved nine girls will finally have a solo concert~

While we waiting for pictures, fancams (if any), and fan-accounts from the concert… here’s I present you a post of random updates. The girls’ shocking diet has been revealed… they only eat about 800 cal (3350 KJ) a day, which is not even the half amount of that an adult should take. The recommended dietary intake for a female adult is 2000 cal (8400 KJ).

They got the 800 cal daily intake from breakfast which consists of only fruit and vegetables totaling to 200 cal (840 KJ), lunch at 300 cal (1250 KJ) and dinner also at 300 cal (1250 KJ). SNSD revealed that their diet mainly consisted of vegetables such as pumpkins, lettuce and cherry tomatoes. No carbohydrates nor fats at all.

Our nine amajjing girls of SNSD swept six (SIX!) awards on the long-awaited 1st Melon Music Awards; including two of the biggest awards, 2009 Artist and 2009 Song. The girls also performed four (FOUR!) songs in this awards show. Seriously, they dominate tonight Melon Awards it’s not even funny (they even on Trending Topic list on Twitter for this LOL). And, no, I am not complaining though. 😀

YEAAAAAAAAAHH!

The girls won Top 10, Odyssey Award, Smart Radio, Mobile Music,  2009 Artist, and 2009 Song Award. Congrats for the awardsss girls!

Four out of six awards they got are basically for their mega-hit song, Gee. It’s no brainer, really. ‘Gee’ is undoubtedly a mega hit in Korea so all those awards they got are very well-deserved. I mean, this ‘Gee’ is the song which successfully helped SNSD to go from being prolly the most hated group in K-pop fandom into being one of the most loved ones. Though, after tonight it seems like the girls got all the hate again for winning almost half of all the awards given. Well come on now, I don’t think there’s a way you can argue that both SNSD and Gee deserve the recognitions!

Speaking of Gee, the nine girls of SNSD performed this song along with Genie dance remix (with a new-but-not-really-unseen-before intro), Chocolate Love (in the so-called girl groups joint stage) and Girls’ Generation (as a part of tribute to the original singer, Lee Seung-chul). Yes, here comes the day where SM Entertainment released official SNSD (and DBSK) trading cards (or in their words, “Star Collection Cards”). They sell the cards in 5 packs set and 15 packs set, wherein each pack has 5 cards. The 5 packs set priced at 10,000 KRW (about $9) and the 15 packs set priced at 30,000 KRW. Pre-orders for the cards is available at >>G-market<<, while the official release will be on December 21st, 2009.

SNSD Chosen as the Best Female Artist of 2009

From Dec 7th to 9th, Star News conducted surveys (Artist of the year, Song of the year, Best male artist, Best female artist, Best rookie and Hottest issue of the year) among variety show’s producers, and summed up the result on Dec 10th. Total of 22 music shows and variety shows producers (PDs) from MBC, KBS, and SBS participated in this survey.

SNSD

The producers picked Girls’ Generation (So Nyuh Shi Dae) as “Best Female Artist of the Year” with 11 votes. The girls’ hit song, Gee, also chosen as “Best Song of the Year” with 7 votes. SNSD also came in 2nd place for “Artis of the Year” category with 5 votes, losing to beastly idols 2PM who got 9 votes.

I myself can’t do such thing, but Kwon Yuri can!

On the recent episode of KBS2 Invincible Youth, Yuri showed us that she can licks her own nose. She did that after seeing a cow, which Sunny owns after winning a wrestling match in the previous episode, licks its own nose.
