The girls’ shocking diet has been revealed… they only eat about 800 cal (3350 KJ) a day, which is not even the half amount of that an adult should take. The recommended dietary intake for a female adult is 2000 cal (8400 KJ).
They got the 800 cal daily intake from breakfast which consists of only fruit and vegetables totaling to 200 cal (840 KJ), lunch at 300 cal (1250 KJ) and dinner also at 300 cal (1250 KJ). SNSD revealed that their diet mainly consisted of vegetables such as pumpkins, lettuce and cherry tomatoes. No carbohydrates nor fats at all.

They also revealed, if they’re hungry then they would eat cucumbers. Cucumbers. So that’s why our anti-cucumber Jessica is getting skinnier and skinnier. They only got to eat cucumber for snacks ;___;
The girls’ trainer revealed, “Because celebrities have to appear on broadcast, their diet should not follow that of normal people.” Yeah, right. I don’t know… is this even healthy at all? There are so many alternatives it’s hard to keep your head from spinning, I just read the forskolin reviews and they didn’t leave me with a taste of radicalism in my mouth.
I HOPE THIS IS JUST A DIET PLAN FOR THEIR CONCERT PREPARATION OR SOMETHING! D:

I’ve heard that performers would diet before their comeback. But I seriously doubt that they restrict their diets to the same extent during performance season. The demand of rehearsals and performances would be too much. They’d all look like Jessica.
I recall KARA self-cameras where the group visited restaurants and were shown having healthy meals. Even take out. And from the random conversations of SNSD, they do the same.
During on phone conversation with Ida Simmons who chided Tiffany for her and the others getting too skinny, Tiffany said they ate like horses.
They just have so such a strenuous job, they stay skinny. And perhaps, they forget to eat regularly. That happens when people are doing something they love.

I’m shocked. I knew they were thin, way too thin for the standards in my country (where we luckily don’t have many fat people), but that’s still a shock. 800kcals is not enough for their age, even when you have to diet because you’re overweight you shouldn’t eat less than 1000kcals. I hope they don’t follow it very strictly 🙂

I doubt thats all they eat. Maybe if they are dieting before a comeback, but without any iron in their diet I doubt they can train.
omg! they need a better diet! even if they’re celebs, they’re still adult girls and need to maintain a HEALTHY lifestyle.

I agree that depending on their work schedule/activity, their eating diet may differ but never the less they need to improve their consumption habits….remember that anything in excess (too little or too much!) is bad! :o(
What the heck are they dieting for?? They don’t have much to trim off besides what muscle they have. All dieting in their state is going to do is screw up their health and make their body chew away at the very small mass that they have left… This makes me angry and sad at the same time. I wish they knew how bad this is for them..
I read this at soshified(SNSD fansite).Looks like there is a mistake!Instead of 800Kcal,it is 1200Kcal.The highlight in de fansite was this

Wow! Maybe the hard response by many SNSD fans led the SNSD media management to “up the calories” and make it seem “less drastic” but I am sure their eating habits/diet is still not good. 😦 Hope all this gets re-evaluated for SNSD’s sake!
