ferrerorocher9: More pictures added.
taengoochingoo: More pictures of showcase and epic pink ocean and more fancams
zheming : Updated with fancams of both Japanese Genie MV and performance.
After all that waiting, SNSD’s Japan Showcase is finally here, ALL 3 OF THEM.
The first showcase starts at 2, but already people have been lining up at the Ariake Coliseum hours before it starts. Glad to see so much support for the girls 🙂 Make us proud, J-SONES. It looks pretty packed, no wonder why they needed 3. And apparently they have A LOT of fangirls in Japan, which is nice to see instead of packs of crazy fanboys.

If you didn’t know yet, today is SHOWCASE DAY. So to celebrate their Japan debut, here’s a short clip (about half the song) of Japanese Genie that was released recently. For all of us not in Japan we can listen to this and imagine we are 😀 It’s a bit…different, hearing it in Japanese instead of Korean, but whatevers we’ll get used to it 🙂 Not sure yet if the original was directly translated to Japanese because there are some parts not in theKorean version. So far I’m loving Taengoo’s “SOS” and Sica’s “Genie yo” haha. If anyone knows Japanese, please enlighten us

Edit: Another filming picture from MV
FINALLY. Now we get a little taste of Shoujo Jidai, with the teaser for the Japanese version of Genie. The concept appears to have changed by looks of the MV to a more cutesy feel but still smexy 🙂 It even kinda looks like a circus related concept thing…(?) I guess we’ll have to see the entire MV, but for now this is good enough! Let’s now spazz together, Japanese style.

A picture of the girls have recently surfaced on the net. In the picture, the girls are seen with stunning shades 3D glasses as they crowd together in front of a screen along with staffs. Many people speculate that this picture was taken at the scene where the girls were/are filming the remake of their “Genie”/”Tell Me Your Wish” music video for their upcoming debut in Japan.

The 3D glasses makes people believe that the remake might possibly be in 3D or at least there might be a 3D version. If you recall, there were rumors before about James Cameron, the director of the 3D movie, “Avatar,” speaking with SME and having plans to work on SNSD’s music videos and concert for Samsung. Regardless, nothing is confirmed yet and maybe Cameron has nothing to do with what is believed to be the “remake.” It is quite exciting though to think about. If there does happen to be a remake of “Genie”/”Tell Me Your Wish” in 3D, I’m ready; still have my 3D glasses from watching “Despicable Me” in 3D (;

Yerppp. It’s no doubt that after S♥nes read about Japanese former singer and current model, Umeda Erika, supporting the girls’ upcoming debut in Japan as well as MEG, they were overjoyed knowing there are some Japanese celebrities who got the girls’ backs (…or the proper way of saying it, anticipating and supportive of the girls’ debut).
There’s definitely proof because more Japanese celebrities are found posting about the girls’ upcoming debut on their blogs.
Among them, is Fukuoka Sayaka (30 years old actress and talent/Gravure Idol with a focus in swimsuit modeling).
