Only few hours after winning their 2nd MuBank K-chart for “Hoot“, the girls guested on Super Junior Heechul’s Youngstreet Radio. The nine girls sang “Hoot” and “My Best Friend” live. One of the highlight of the guesting is when Heechul asked them to text other celebrities and asked them what animals the girls look like. No English subs yet as for now, but I’ll try to update this post with excerpts from the radio show.

Don’t you just miss SNSD on variety shows? Have no worry, on the recent fan-signing Sooyoung promised that they’ll appear more on variety shows this time around. Today, November 11, we got two TV appearances from the girls. \o/

As reported earlier, Sooyoung, Sunny, Seohyun, Yuri, and Taeyeon guested on KBS2 variety show “Happy Together”. The shows is hilarious even without sub, as expected. Well, you can expect a lot from MC Yoo Jaesuk, Park Myungsoo, Park Misun, and Shin Bongsun + Soshi dorks combo. The girls always shines on variety shows, imo. :]

On MBC “Golden Fishery” corner, “Radio Star”, veteran singer Psy said that girl group have huge impact in South Korea’s military forces. He added, “In the army, everything is about SNSD. SNSD is like a religion there”. Is it just me or whenever South Korean male celebrity enlisted in the army, most of them will convert to Soshism? I guess the power of nine already took over South Korean’s army camp completely.

A rare video clip of SNSD‘s appearance on MBC drama “Kimcheed Radish Cubed” (Ggakdugi) has garnered attention. The drama was aired in late 2007 and the girls were just debuted with their single “Into the New World”. So yes, “cameo”  isn’t  quite the right word because at that time the girls weren’t even half as famous as they’re now.

As noted on the girls’ schedules, Soshi split up into two teams today and had two separate fan signings! A lot of fan accounts a couple of fan cams! Let’s all congratulate the girls on their Mutizen win! I’m pretty sure many of us were perhaps expecting the girls to win on Inkigayo after their K-Chart win on Music Bank two days ago. The girls certainly didn’t disappoint their fans, winning the Mutizen on only their second performance of “Hoot” on Inkigayo. Speaking of which, SNSD looked absolutely gorgeous today in their Valentines-Colored outfits.

As you may know, the girls won on Music Bank with 17,285 points on the 5th. According to Cecil/chichinhu@Twitter, 17,285 (from Digital: 5964; Vote: 0; Album: 9390; Broadcast: 1931) is currently the highest point since Music Bank changed the K-Chart system.

It’s one lengthy interview, but it’s definitely worth reading. I personally think that 10Asia.co.kr never fail to provide good, if not the best, interviews so I’m glad that they get to interview SNSD again this time!

Girls’ Generation’s debut three years ago did not go unnoticed yet it could be called quiet compared to the feats they achieved in the years to follow — 2009 in particular was a fruitful year for them, placing atop music charts for up to nine weeks straight with song “Gee” which was followed by “Genie” which also saw immense success, winning them multiple prizes at music festivals at the end of the year.
