Just a quick update; Jessica’s upcoming OST track for KBS’s drama, Romance Town, is going to be released on the 18th–about 2 days from today. The song is titled 눈물이 넘쳐서 (not sure what the exact English translated title is, but google translated it to ‘Tears Overflow’ or ‘Filled With Tears’).
The track will be part of the drama’s OST part 2. I believe this is her first solo OST track. Continue reading

Earlier today, it’s been revealed that SM Entertainment, the girls’ agency, is to produce the Korean version of “Hana Kimi”, which is also known as “‘Hanazakari no Kimitachi e”.
On March 10th, an official from SM Entertainment said, “We will produce the 2011 drama ‘Hanazakari no Kimitachi e’ (For You in Full Blossom).”

Don’t get too excited just yet as rumours are just rumours, and SM have already released a statement clarifying the situation. Recently, rumours have started to arise that SNSD might soon be starring in their own Japanese drama; one based losely on a manga (Japanese comic) with each member starring as the main character in different episodes. The drama is said to be planned for airing in Japan in late 2011 and later in Korea. Continue reading

The cast of KBS drama “Dream High” was seen practicing to SNSD’s “Genie”. 2pm’s Taecyeon, missA’s Suzy, Soohyun, and IU said “Tell Me Your Wish” on the 14th with a dance cover of the hit song. The drama, which follows the stories of various students aiming to be pop stars, have included performances of missA‘s “Bad Girl Good Girl” and “Breathe”. Maybe the next cover will be of Soshi? We’ll keep you posted; in the meantime, check out the fancam of the practice! Turns out the next cover IS of Soshi!

On the latest episode of the Korean drama, “I am Legend,” staring Kim Jung Eun (many of you guys might know her as being the MC/host of Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate music show), Kim Jung Eun along with her “ahjumma” band covered the rock version of SNSD’s “Genie”/”Tell Me Your Wish.”

SNSD is everywhere in Korea, and now, 3 of the members are going to be appearing as cameos in the dram Oh! My Lady starring SUJU’s Siwon. It seems there has been a lot of Super Generation love lately, and this is just another example of it.
