The cast of KBS drama “Dream High” was seen practicing to SNSD’s “Genie”. 2pm’s Taecyeon, missA’s Suzy, Soohyun, and IU said “Tell Me Your Wish” on the 14th with a dance cover of the hit song. The drama, which follows the stories of various students aiming to be pop stars, have included performances of missA‘s “Bad Girl Good Girl” and “Breathe”. Maybe the next cover will be of Soshi? The main character (played by Suzy) is a skilled singer, but she lacks the ability to show her emotions through songs. In order to overcome this weakness, Taecyeon’s character decides to teach her by doing a cover of SNSD’s “Genie” for a friend. This friend had attempted to commit suicide, and the cover brings him to tears lol. Power of Soshi?

lol awesome. I guess in Korea, its just the norm to know the full choreography to Genie? haha especially if ur a musician i guess, like Taec. lol this was pretty funny. SNSD is so iconic. too bad we couldn’t see Taec and Wooyoung doing the full leg dance.lol but i think the hand gestures were enough, since they were soooo on point.lol

I don’t know why…but I feel that JYP always try to ‘borrow’ SNSD name to outstand his artist.
And I don’t like that. Why don’t they use a Wonder Girls song, a JYP artist?
SNSD is popular because of themselves and because they have a very supportive SONEs.
SNSD never use other artists’ name to outstand themselves.
( It is just my opinion )
When the song started out with an acoustic of Genie I was touched. Then Taec sort of came out and… Yeah. @@ Sorry. It’s just that I wasn’t anticipating that.
I liked IU’s rendition of 2AM at 28:10 moreso than the Genie cover. Taecyeon really needs vocal lessons, I mean it’s been how many years since their debut and he can’t sing?! Gah!!!

A Really Interesting episode 😀 😀 😀 ; sort of like a Korean version of “Fame”, only more melodramatic 😉 !!! The “Genie” performance was Epic !!! I kind of liked the “Happy Birthday” song though, very touching <333 🙂 !
