If you keep up with Korean entertainment, then you know about KBS returning with their hit show >>Go Dream Team<< for a second season. The Dream Team consists of five male celebrities doing physical things (sports! not…yeah…) and the show ran about 4 years. Now KBS2TV wants to return their “female” version of the show, Heroine 6 with a brand new title and lineup.

D: Why would they zoom up on Seobaby‘s legs and buttocks? And is it just me or does the audio sound weird? It’s like MBC was having a hard time choosing whether or not to let the girls sing live or let the audio version take over o_O I think a lot of performances sounded just as weird. 2PM‘s was a bit messy, same goes for KARA and Brown Eyed Girls… I’ll watch SuJu later on, I want to see the Minwoo+JunJin perf but I can’t see it. Younha, F.T. Island, and Lee Jung Hyun did fine though. Before I show you the goods, I want to show you something from the makers of >>4KOMA comic<< and talk briefly about the series. The 4KOMA series involves today’s four biggest Kpop girl groups and were not made in a short period of time… so keep in mind hair changes and certain inside jokes that you may not be able to understand. The artist is not being negligent, he or she is just keeping up with the current look each time the girls change styles and is also trying to keep up with the latest news or tidbits so it may be hard to keep up. Hopefully it won’t be that hard to figure the small things out because it’s really what makes the series great 😀

So the latest scoop in K-pop news is that front-man G-Dragon (a.k.a. Kwon Jiyong) of Big Bang is finally coming out with his solo album and following in the footsteps of the group’s lead singer, Youngbae (a.k.a. TaeYang) and Daesung.

His album has been long anticipated but because of his other works, producing music/writing lyrics for other YG Entertainment artists and for his group Big Bang,  and due to personal matters, his album was continuously pushed back. However, he has found some time finally and everyone’s raving on about the little snippets he’s releasing of the full length album

I had some time to listen to it today and I must say, I’m glad I didn’t ignore it like I had originally planned to. Why you ask? Well if you’ve been paying attention to my other posts where I talk about YG Entertainment and their artists, then you know how much I complain about this whole new image they’ve been using and how much I miss the old YG/Big Bang’s style.
