Anyway, back on track. SNSD is about to accomplish another great feat..the sale of their albums are ready to pass that 100,000 mark in both Korea and Japan. This all started in Korea with the release of “Oh!” and “Run Devil Run”. Based on the Hanteo Music Chart, for 8 months a total of 170,775 albums were sold! From being the #1 girl group in South Korea(and possibly the whole world),to achieving #1 on both various music charts and polls.
Our girls never fail to surprise us all.
Now they have been chosen to be featured on gift certificates! And that’s right,they are the FIRST ever star to do that!
A big congratulations to them!
These certificates could be used as a cheque for the travellers and they could use it basically anywhere in Korea!
They will be sold in a set of 10,with nine individual prints and one group print. Each certificate is valued at approximately 10 dollars each.
I wonder if they would do a whole new photoshoot just for this purpose.
Whether or not other stars be given the opportunity to be featured on the certificates in the near future is all up to the response to that of our girls!

Recently on the radio in Japan, a snippet of Gee Japanese version was played. Apparently Japan broadcasts some parts of upcoming songs on the radio to build up the hype before the official release. Not really any confirmation as of now if this was an actual leak or just something to get people excited for Japanese Gee. Either way it’s sure getting me excited 🙂 The song sounds super cute (naturally) but I still prefer the Korean version haha. And for some reason all of them sound the same….I’ll give it some time. Anyways, the official release date of Gee is October 20th so don’t forget to get your CD!
Here’s the pretty LQ recording of the song off the radio. Listening to this LQ version brings back memories of getting hyped up for their Gee comeback…

Okay..MAYBE the poll wasn’t talking about stuff like THAT but Taeyeon has recently been crowned first place as Aegyo Queen. DC recently conducted a poll called “Idol overflowing with aegyo that melts mens’ hearts.” 16,801 votes came in and our little kid leaded snagged first place with 60.8% of the votes! DAYUM. Not to mention, Sunny took second place with 17.2% of the votes!
Tiffany’s ‘Eye Smile’has been spotted once again! It is simply heart-melting. Her adorable face, with a new ‘doll’ hairstyle for the Japanese debut, once again shines with life (well it does all the time anyway) and melts the hearts of many netizens and online communities.
As seen in videos, especially in Into The New World MV, Tiffany’s cute ‘eye smile’ has been captured numerous times. I’d have to admit, it melts away my heart and brightens up my day. Well, doesn’t it to us all? 😛

Actress Kim Taehee (Iris! Sorry I’m not much of a drama person so that’s the only drama I know her in…) was recently on KBS’s Win Win. When asked if there are any female celebrities that she would introduce to her brother Lee Wan, she mentioned our leader Taeyeon.
“Taeyeon can sing well and seems like she has a good personality, so I think it would be nice if I could introduce her to him.”
I don’t know about you but if I knew any of the SNSD members, sorry I might keep them around before introducing them to anyone 😛 Kidding..sharing is caring….dot. Well this just adds on to the enormous list of people that would love to bring SNSD home, introduce them to other people, date them, etc. No big deal. 🙂
Fuji TV finally broadcasted the Mezamashi Live performance in Japan. Although it’s only subbed in Korean, it’s still clear there is a Pink Tsunami hitting the land of the rising sun. Before you check it out, brace yourself for some crazy fangirl action at 7:14!
