It Doesn’t Get Much Sweeter Than This

In last week’s episode of MBC’s “We Go Married”, Yonghwa was trying his best to make amends for misplacing Seohyun’s handmade scarf. He felt bad and intended to buy her a new one in Japan, but instead ended up knitting a replacement scarf with his own two hands. When he presented the scarf to his wife, Yonghwa told her that he’d purchased it while in Japan. But Seohyun, noticing the amateur craftsmanship, suspected the scarf was a handmade Jung Yonghwa original. Yonghwa jokingly tried to cover himself by saying, “Am I a person who has so much time on my hands?”

Seohyun later received confirmation that the scarf was handmade for her by Yonghwa through a notebook containing pictures of the knitting process and the completed scarf. It goes without saying that Seohyun was deeply moved by her husband’s sincere heartfelt gesture.

To combine two quick blips in one post-

You guys remember those recent SPAO promo pics? Apparently, some fans were disappointed with the Super Generation pairings. And I completely understand. As cute as Sunny-Kyuhyun were, for instance, they weren’t as good as Yoonyul. Sones got on that pretty quickly with their photoshop skillllzzz. Of course I totally rikes. Sorry boys, but Yoonyul is as real as it gets. Jump under the cut to see how these two pictures got Yoonyulified!

It seems that the list of Sones don’t end at witty photoshoppers. On KBS “Guerrila Date” March 19 episode, actress/model Kim Ah Joong chose SNSD as her favorite girl group without hesitation. When asked which member she would replace, Kim replied, “How is it possible to leave out a member? Among all 9 of them, none can be replaced. Instead, I would like to join them as the 10th member”. Please excuse the corny title.

Last week, pictures of some of the members going GAGA for a photo shoot surfaced and fans wondered what the photo shoot was for. It turns out it’s for the magazine, Vogue Korea. The girls will be featured in the new April 2011 issue of Vogue Korea and the section is supposedly titled ‘Boys Meet Girls’–when lovely modern boys (Jessica, Sooyoung, and Yuri) encounter funky girls (Tiffany, Sunny, and Hyoyeon) . On the Korean Vogue site, a preview of the photo shoot pictures have been released.

It’s official, Yongseo has wrapped up

Rumours abound and chatter of this has been around for a long time. But without official statements were weren’t sure breaking news such as this would be a good leap without being sure.

But, at this point in time, Yongseo have finished their final shooting on March the 14th, “White Day” In Korea.

The decision for the end of the WGM couple was due to busy schedules and difficulty in setting up times for them to meet.

Though you still will have Yongseo so watch for another couple of weeks. The final episode is expected to air at the end of march or beginning of April.

The couple started the program February 27th of 2010. It has been just a little over a year, but I didn’t expect it to end this quickly. I honestly loved the crap out of this couple. Queue the crying, or for the Seohyun lovers, queue the relief :P.

For those who are wondering, the “gamer dude” is Lim Yo-Hwan a.k.a BoxeR, a famous Korean professional Starcraft player. When I say famous, I mean “has a fan-club with over 1,000,000 members” kind of famous. Even if he wasn’t a SONE before this, i’m pretty sure he is now. 🙂 Who can resist the power of Soshi? Now we’ve got another name to add to the list of famous SONEs. 😛 *obnoxious laughter*

SNSD Sends a Message to Japan

After the tsunami and earthquake that happened in Japan recently, people all around the world have been stepping in to help the country or just by sending out messages of concern. SNSD was no different as they recently released a message on their mobile fansite.

A message from SNSD] The victims have our deepest sympathy

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the victims of the Tohoku Pacific Ocean Earthquake. We came to know about the news of the earthquake in Thailand. Regarding SNSD who has activities in Japan, this isn’t somebody elses problem and all of the members are concerned. Even now, the aftershocks, tsunami and disasters continuously occur and there is serious damage. This current condition pains our hearts very much. We pray from our hearts that everybody will peacefully get over this hardship.
