After the succesful run of KBS2‘s Dream High and a Dream High Season 2 in the makings, speculation has started over which of the star-studded cast will be returning, as well as which new faces will be joining them.
In a poll being conducted on a korean portal site, our multi-talented leader Taeyeon has already quickly taken the lead as the celebrity netizens would most like to see on Dream High S2. Joining her in the rankings are Jessica and Yuri, was well as a long list of other well-known names such as Chan-sung, So-hee, Bae Yong-joon and Hye-rim.
To be honest, the likeliness of and SNSD member actually joining the cast is incredibly thin, with SM rejecting pretty much all the ‘love-calls’ that the girls are getting due to their busy busy schedules. Chances are the next time we’ll see a SoShi girl acting it’ll be an SM production – and even then it’s going to be a while as SM doesn’t have any acting plans in store for them for the time being. Still, it’s nice to know that k-Netizens want to see SNSD girls in more areas of entertainment as well.

It appears that the massive popularity of Taeyeon as a reputable singer among netizens and citizens alike has made her the fan-favourite celeb’ whom people want to be included in the production of “Dream High Season 2”.
Judging from the stats, it also seems that Jessica, Yuri and other well-known names joining Taeyeon in the rankings are among the most likely candidates to be chosen for the production of the K-drama too.
Unfortunately, SNSD’s busy schedules render their highly anticipated appearances in aforementioned K-drama null and void. Such a shame, all of that potential (somewhat) gone to waste. I wonder if SME realizes that fans of any of their artists will still listen to them even if they were to read out the ingredients label on the back of a cereal box.

I’m pretty sure that jyp would’nt allow sm artists to overshadow his very own artists since he’s a co-producer of this drama. But this does’nt matter because sm will likely to step into the bandwagon of producing dramas starting from HANAKIMI! We’ll surely see our beloved sm town in this drama!
I agree with you…of course JYP will not let SM artists to be outshine and dominate the drama from his very own artists. I hope SM will produce better and faaarrr better than JYP drama. I really hope that our Soshi will participate in the upcoming SM drama. That’s the only field that Soshi need to go more, I mean, I really want to see all of them act. I really2 hope that SM will produce movie which all Soshi members starred like Super Junior : Attack on The Pin-Up Boys. Go SM Town! Go Soshi! We will support you!
yes i’d really like to see them acting+it would be fun seeing on dramas! but since there very very busy girls it cant be helped 😦

But there is one big factor now that can make it possible, with the disaster in Japan they will unlikely be able to continue a strong promotion there, also the reconstruction of great part of the country and the nuclear problems will probably take some time, the money that will take to put Japan in their feet again is aprox. 62 bi, this will cause a drastically shift in the economy, including the music industry.
I think they are busy because of their promotions in japan for their new Japanese album
But, japan now in a disaster mode…
So, the promotion will not go on there….

I want too. If I not mistake, jyp also like taeyeon. He did say that he want make taeyeon album solo, did he? But not easy to take any member snsd…but I want also see taeyeon at drama… I believes taeyeon can make impact ranking go up…
