The Sone numbers grow!

The nine members of SNSD have only been official celebrities since August 2007 and didn’t even have an official fanclub until the ending half of 2008. But that didn’t stop their wonderful fans from sticking together and showing their love in numbers.

We all know that fellow Entertainment band, DBSK, made it to the Guiness World Book of Records because they have the biggest fanbase with nearly 800, 000 and growing. Don’t think that’s much? Well just remember in order to be part of official fanclubs, you must pay a fee and I think some even require certain participation credits! Though we may be Sones at heart, we haven’t all taken the time to be official Sones.

That’s right, you heard me! The next time you’re in a rough, just think of something Gee… Think of something SNSD. (Oh, that rhymed hehehe)

Two members of SM Entertainment‘s SHINee went to Star Golden Bell and played their new game. The point of this game is to cover your teeth with your lips and depending what topic they give you, you have to talk about it with your teeth covered. First one to die laugh and show their teeth loses!

There’s a reason why I love Key from SHINee the most and Sungmin from Super Junior (well, with Kyuhyun, Yesung, and sometimes Eunhyuk). Continue reading →

If you’re a Soshified member, you probably have noticed that now SSF has more than 50,000 registered members. That number means Soshified is now the largest international site for any specific K-pop artist. Congrats to Soshified, btw. But how about the Korean fan-cafes?

It’s been revealed that SNSD’s fan-cafes in two most popular Korea portal sites, Daum and Naver, are both the biggest among fan-cafes for idol girl groups. What surprised me is, apparently their Daum fan-cafe is now even bigger than most of Korean boy bands’ out there. Number wise they are only losing to DBSK’s and Big Bang’s! :O Seems like I have underestimate the number of Korean S♥ne…

So I was reading this article on SM members’w/last name Choi, in allkpop by lilchoiboy18 (Coincidently another Choi) and I thought it was really interesting. He reported about the tallest members in each SM group…

Tallest Members in:
Super Junior: Choi Siwon at 183 cm
SNSD / Girl’s Generation: Choi Sooyoung 169-170 cm
SHINee: Choi Minho ~181 cm
TVXQ / DBSK: Choi Kang Chang Min ~186 cm
f(x): Choi Sulli Unknown height, but it has been confirmed that she is taller than Victoria\

Any one see the pattern? If not, I hope the bolded names helped. Could just be coincident… or not? With FIVE groups. I think it just MIGHT be some funny SM gimmick.

On another note, do you think any of these Choi’s are related?
