SBS has recently released a teaser for their upcoming “SBS Gayo Daejun 2010”. In the clip, you can see the stars that will be participating in the big year end festival, including F.T. Island, KARA, Narsha (Brown Eyed Girls), SHINee, 2PM, BEAST, T-ara, Super Junior, After School, 2AM, CN. Blue, 2NE1, Se7en, GD & TOP (Big Bang), Girls’ Generation, and BoA. It will start at 9:55 PM KST on December 29th.
Apparently, “Gayo” means music, “Dae” means big, and “Jun” means war. Who else is excited for it, especially for the maknae special?

I mean talk about random! A German site posted a video up with Christmas wishes from famous people all around the world and somehow our girls were edited into it too! SoshiLove all ova da world ❤ Thanks to Yurui@twitter for the tweet.
And just so this post doesn’t seem that short and pointless, SNSD has been confirmed for KBS Music Gayo! The Japanese Record Award show will start at 6:30 PM JST and KBS will start at 9:50 PM KST. Hopefully the girls won’t be too worn out. 😐
Well, look forward to all three year end special, SONEs! It’s always one of my personal faves and worth getting up extra early for 🙂 Happy holidays everyone and have a safe break!

After resting for a month from her knee injury, Tiffany finally makes a comeback to complete the power of nine. The nine girls performed ‘Gee’ on this morning Mezamashi TV and Tiffany started the song’s intro by adorably said, “Good morning, Japan! Happy holidays.” As you can see on the screencap above, the choreography is altered a bit so that Tiffany doesn’t have to kneel down on the ending pose. Continue reading

Korea Gallup confirms SNSD (Girls’ Generation) as “Singer of The Year” and two of their songs, Hoot and Oh!, also ranked as 1st and 2nd “The Most Popular Song in 2010” respectively. This is a huge feat because, as you may already know, Gallup is a professional research company which polls often referenced in the mass media as a reliable and objective measure of public opinion. That’s right, public opinion. The survey involved 3,401 random male and female citizens, aged 13 and above. SNSD ranked as #1 in almost all age group category except for the 60+ citizens.
Talk about domination, they win by a quite large margin too. This survey confirms SNSD’s popularity in general public of South Korea. No wonder that the girls now earned the name of “the Nation’s Group” (국민가수 [Gukmin Gasoo], which is more like “the Nation’s Singer”) an upgrade from their previous “the Nation’s Girl Group” title.

After her injury, fans have missed seeing this bright mushroom on stage but no worries she’ll be joining her sisters back on stage again! According to a Japanese article here, the girls will be performing on JP Mezamashi TV on the 23rd of this month and Tiffany will be there 😀 *Claps/Throws confetti/eats confetti*

I’m not kidding when I say this..from 0:00 to 13:16. The fan cam is of the girls performing at Lotte World for the Free Christmas Concert and there are a bunch of cute and funny moments. From Sunny singing the wrong version of lyrics to Yuri teasing the shorty to Jessica getting confused…you won’t find this fan cam boring at all.
