Just a quick update; Jessica’s upcoming OST track for KBS’s drama, Romance Town, is going to be released on the 18th–about 2 days from today. The song is titled 눈물이 넘쳐서 (not sure what the exact English translated title is, but google translated it to ‘Tears Overflow’ or ‘Filled With Tears’).
The track will be part of the drama’s OST part 2. I believe this is her first solo OST track. Continue reading

Our first original album in Japan has been completed! It’s an album packed full of fantastic songs, so we hope that lots of people listen to it. We also hope people look forward to our performance during our tour. Definitely come and visit us!

As reported earlier, SNSD will be performing at the promotional concert in the bid for PyeongChang to host the 2018 Winter Olympics. After their Music Station performance in Japan last night, the girls are back in Korea and reportedly will perform ‘Hoot!‘ and ‘Gee‘. The concert will air on KBS today at 7pm KST, this post will be updated when footage is available.

Coming this Sunday is our Sunny Bunny’s birthday (Sunday/Sunny? What a coincidence haha). In celebration of her turning 23 in Korea on the 15th, SONEs from the girls’ fancafe, especially Sunshiners, have published an ad on a newspaper ahead of time on the 13th with their birthday messages and greetings to the birthday girl.
A member of the fancafe said, “As Sunny’s birthday, May 15th falls on a Sunday, we decided to publish the ad on May 13th, ahead on the actual day”. On May 7th, the members of the fancafe had also carried out voluntary activities at farms in Yeoju County in Gyeonggi Province.

Employment and human resources portal Incruit, recently conducted a poll asking 350 college students, which artistes they would most like to see perform at their respective schools’ festivals, and SNSD came first with 18.3% of the votes! This is the second time the girl’s claimed the top spot, as they were also chosen as the favorites last year.
In keeping with the theme of education and because this post needs pictures, here are some classics of SNSD in uniform!

When 100 KOSDAQ (Korean Securities Dealers Automated Quotations) CEO’s were asked the question:
Which entertainer would you like to have a contract with for an event or as your CF model?
They chose SNSD in a tie with South Korean figure skater Kim Yu-Na and actor Hyun Bin as their 2nd favorites, behind popular actress Kim Tae-hee who claimed the top spot.
It is stated that the girls’ friendly and cheerful image had great appeal towards the public, and so made them a favorite between the CEO’s.
Although our “beloved nine” did not come first, they did rank among some of South Korea’s top celebrities further cementing their star power; and us SONEs already know that the girls have contracts with some of the world’s largest companies such as Samsung and Intel.
