Having already started off the year endorsing Intel, and only recently securing a deal with Christine Dior, SNSD are once again proving that they are Korea’s the world’s “CF Queens”, by filming their latest one for Vita 500 – a caffeine free energy beverage.
With Valentine’s Day less than a week away, Korean based music portal ikaraoke, recently asked members whom they wished to spend the most romantic day of the year with.
537 members between the ages of 20 and 30, participated in the weeklong poll and the results have confirmed that: 41% of men chose SNSD, as the idol they would want to be on a date with the most on Valentine’s Day. Solo singing sensation IU came in at second place with 32% of votes from men, whilst South Korean boy band Big Bang were chosen as the top choice among female voters.

Tidbit: It wouldn’t matter what day it is, I would date SNSD any day of the year 😛
Even whilst on a short break, SNSD still manages to be on TOP! More specifically, Taeyeon’s duet track with Kim Bumsoo, “Different”, remains at number one as of the 5th of February – on the Dosirak, Soribada, Bugs, and Monkey3 music charts; making it the top song of the Lunar New Year holiday period.
More details have also emerged regarding Tete’s involvement with the track, set to be included in Kim Bumsoo’s upcoming 7th studio album, ‘SOLISTA: Part 2′. Kim Bumsoo’s management explained,
As Taeyeon is a junior Kim Bumsoo cares for, and is the lead vocal of one of the representative girl groups SNSD, he suggested to have her take part in the duet. We got to work together after she and her management willingly obliged.
Well there you have it. Congrats to Taeyeon and Kim Bumsoo, and Happy Lunar New Year everybody!
Any rumors on how SNSD are able to maintain their fine physiques (other than through rigorous training) can now be put to rest!
On the Lunar New Year special of SBS program, “What Are Stars Doing?” SNSD’s trainer, Kim Jihoon revealed that:
SNSD’s daily diet is about 1,500 kCal. They take seasonal herbs, 5 cuts of brocolli, grilled chicken breast meat 100 gram, 150g brown rice, etc. They usually eat well.
Dailymotion embed just in case SBS takes it off YouTube
Also, according to a ‘Stars You Would Like To Dine With‘ survey, SNSD placed 2nd, behind Strong Heart and Star King MC Kang Ho Dong.
Even though they came in at second, let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to dine with these girls? I mean, they play with their asparagus!
Having recently been witnessed dining out, SNSD are at it again, this time in Japan.
Right after their Music Station appearance, five of the girls dashed off to a nearby ramen shop, after it was recommended to them on the show. Whilst feasting away, they were snapped by the local paparazzi and later featured in the above news article.
Translation:
SNSD ate ‘Pork fat tonkotsu ramen*’!
The 9 beautiful legged group, who conquered Japan, surprisingly have ‘a substantial meal’ as their favorite food.
”This is dangerous” ” Their legs are so nice”
In the lodgings of the Soccer Asian Cup, Kagawa and Nagatomo are chatting like this, as the video plays.
The moment they saw pictures of SNSD they got excited. It seems that even the Japanese representatives got completely captivated by their opponent, the Korean idols.
The last friday night of January SNSD were staying in Japan. The girls went to a long-established ramen shop in the downtown area.
Five of the members went to the ramen shop. Because it was crowded they couldn’t sit together so 3 members sat at the counter.
On this day they appeared live on a music program. (MusicStation) During the program one of the members asked to recommend a good ramen shop.
It seems that immediately after the show they went to eat it.
The ramen shop the girls went to specializes in tonkotsu ramen, where the pork fat surfaces.
I think these are considerably high calories for the girls, whose attraction point are their fine and long beautiful legs…
Because of this occasion how about for their next PV the 9 girls gather around the counter and line up with their beautiful legs?
Trust Yoona to be one of the five, and Sooyoung is probably in there somewhere!
Just as they did for Jessica, when she was cast as Elle Woods in the musical adaptation of “Legally Blonde”, SNSD is back with more words of encouragement, this time for their hoobae Luna of f(x), who will be playing Elle in this year’s production of the same musical.
Along with the girls, the video also features the rest of SMTown offering their support and wishing Luna all the best for her role:
For those of you who were unfamiliar with Jessica’s role as Elle in “Legally Blonde” last year and because I need to Sicafy this post, hit the jump for some refresher videos.
With their recent big win at the Seoul Music Awards on the 20th, the award that SNSD won the following day sort of fell under the radar. But hey, any award that the girl’s win is definitely worth covering (and because it is our duty to do so :)), especially when they make an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING appearance at the ceremony.
Hit the jump to see what I’m talking about but be forewarned, the following post is PICTURE HEAVY! Continue reading →
