Ever since the release of SNSD’s new title track, Hoot, the Kpop world has been changed once again. The girls famous for the Gee syndrome, hacky sack dance, and the bright/dark concepts..have returned with a fiercer image. They’re calling it the Bond Girls image.
Well whatever the hell this new image is called, fans are loving it and this means trouble for the other artists. Trouble, trouble trouble ~ Just check out the proof under the cut.

Everyday a star is born, and SNSD is one of those rare stars that SONES were blessed with. Clap for ’em…because this star is now shining brighter and brighter. (Did anyone catch the reference? Cookies to you if you did.)
Recochoku, a Japanese mobile site, recently conducted a poll asking voters to choose the ranking of female idols as goddesses. With no surprise, SNSD placed 3rd place. Don’t frown SONES because our girls were competing against other major Japanese celebrities and for a newbie group, the girls are doing quite well. *Claps* 😛 Apart from doing well on this poll, the girls’ dvd “New Beginning of Girls’ Generation” is NUMBER 1 ON ORICON TODAY.
On the other hand, the girls’ good friends Kara made it sixth place! Good job Kpop girls!
Lastly, remember today is the 25th in Korea aka the digital release of Hoot! Be on the lookout!

Yesterday was Kpop Night in Singapore, the first time the girls had ever performed in the nation with one of the highest SONE concentrations in the world. I swear, it’s like a ratio of 9:1 or something…

edit: Now here’s what I have to say. Just had to publish this asap. I’m a little disappointed that we didn’t even get to hear any part of the song. The music video isn’t really my thing but I’ll have to wait for the actual one to really judge 🙂 What’s everyone think of the girls? Personally Tiffany blonde with her hair up like that isn’t my thing so I hope it’s only in the music video but we’ll have to wait and see..other than that, the girls look stunning and I’m loving this concept.

Too complicated for someone like the Ice Princess to give a crap.
Remember that lovely twitter Jessica had for a couple of days and then it suddenly disappeared? And then it came back just to go away again right after?
Well, we’ve finally gotten confirmation that the account was Jessie’s but she closed it down herself. Here’s the reason why:

Don’t worry about it~ hehe good morning ^^ hoot
It’s a damn shame she couldn’t keep it since none of the 9 girls have one anyway but I guess thats a good thing since I’d be obsessively looking for translators to translate her tweets 😦

Although this particular performance was performed in August, the video of the performance by the Chinese orchestra, “Nanyang Polytechnic Chinese Orchestra,” surfaced on Youtube just recently. The orchestra performed a medley of KPOP songs, titled “Hallyu Songs of Fame.”
According to the video’s details, the performance was at the YFEST 2010 in Esplanade Concert Hall, Singapore. The performance was arranged by Mr. Tan Kah Yong while the orchestra was conducted by Mr. Mike Chiang.
The “Hallyu Songs of Fame” medley includes many popular KPOP songs and of course, SNSD’s “Gee,” can’t be missing, right? (NO IT CAN NOT!)
