Earlier today, in celebration of her 23rd birthday (Korean age), SONEs from all over the world tweeted and retweeted various birthday messages to our Kid Leader, placing her at number 2 on twitter’s worldwide trending list! Taeyeon then remained in the top 10 throughout the day. Nice one SONEs!!!

I’m just going to start off by saying that Taeyeon has always been my bias, so I hope you guys all understand if this article gets pretty personal.

I still find it hard to believe that when Taeyeon was my age, she already had years of training under her belt in addition to a big-screen debut as the leader of Korea’s arguably most popular girl group. Damn girl. All I did was drag myself to school everyday. 4 years later, she’s taken the title of world star to a whole new level with a slew of CFs, tv shows, international albums, musical, etc etc.

When I got into SNSD a couple years ago, I didn’t even notice Taeyeon. On variety shows, Sunny is the all-kill. On music shows, Yoona has the majority of shots. Jessica has the blonde hair, Sooyoung has the height, etc etc. Sure Taeyeon has her solos, but then again… (so does almost everyone else.) But now, I see Taeyeon as the leader who lets her girls take the spotlight. Continue reading →

Apart from a highly anticipated release of Mr. Taxi, the girls will also be having their first nationwide tour in Japan this coming May! It’ll be called “the 1st Japan Arena Tour” taking place in 4 different cities, with a total of 7 concerts. It kicks off on the 18th of May, starting in Tokyo then Osaka, Nagoya, and finally Fukuoka!

Two new pictures have  surfaced on the internet of an adorable little girl watching the Japanese Gee PV..who could it be?

Well the little girl, named Noa, is actually the daughter of Ex Morning Musume member Nozomi Tsuji! The Gee fever has spread from Korean fans to Japanese fans and now to…their kids! But of course, tis a good fever, no antibiotic needed 🙂 (Cheesy..mah bad.)
