So winter time is approaching for many of us, and SWEATER is obviously the word that SPAO wants to mash into your brain. As always, the Super Generation combo is ba, and this time sporting some warmer and less colourful clothes. Just a simple video and new promotional pics under the cut!
Now that soshi’s anniversary is officially over according to Korean Standard Time, this is just a quick update about what’s new at SNSD Korean~
As you may (or may not) have noticed, we got a new layout! Overall, it’s not too big of a difference compared to the old one as far as positioning and whatnot, so we hope it’s not too hard to get used to haha. If you have any suggestions/comments, please leave them below and we’ll look into them!
The long overdue ‘about us‘ page is now public, and has been moved under the questions/comments menu.
In addition, we’ve released a full (okay, kinda full) soshictionary! *points to fourth tab from the left* If you followed this blog last year, then you may remember this as one of our anniverssary posts for soshi’s 3rd anniversary. This year we’ve brought it back and it’ll be here to stay as a permanent feature. A lot of terms were added, but we know we’re still missing quite a few (especially when it comes to all the cross pairings), so feel free to suggest terms that we’ve missed as well.
Over the past little while, we’ve also adopted new members to the sk family! Please give a warm welcome to:
And finally, a big thank you to the rest of the team for making all of the 4th anniverssary features (and regular site updates) possible, you guys are absolutely amajjiang! I couldn’t have asked for a better family.
As the village of Yoochiri would put it, anyways.
I am of course, again, talking about soshi for the 90th time. This time, it’s another kid, on another youtube video, doing another cover of snsd’s… dance on ice? On a recent broadcast of the show Kiss and Cry, 12 year old child actress Jin Ji Hee performed Soshi’s late 2010 hit Hoot in an ice rink, and did a pretty damn good job at it.
From the video, it certainly looks like a lot of practice went into the short performance, especially given the situation of performing a soshi dance on ice. While it’s not as intense as an actual full Hoot routine on ice, the kid is adorable and ends the dance with a power ranger-like (or sailor scouts, if that’s what you prefer) pose. The second Ice Princess Kim Yuna is also present as a judge on the show.
So Kim Yuna, when are you forming your ‘Soshi on Ice’ group?
And it’s all your fault Jessica. Wae so beautaeful?
Having heard several of Taeng’s songs with the music removed before, it’s no surprise that the kid leader is, well, amazing. Not to be defeated, Jesshika recently got her own solo song for Romance Town OST, and the mv has finally been released. Unfortunately, soshi’s second oldest does not make an appearance, but the song flows quite nicely with the scenes from the drama. (another to add to the list of things to watch, perhaps?)
More importantly though, a short clip of the sleeping beauty’s singing has been edited as MR removed, showing us all Jessica has to offer. I never understood why it’s ‘MR removed’ as I’ve always thought ‘MR’ itself stood for music removed, but maybe I’m just misunderstanding the abbreviation or something.. so I’m just babbling right now. Anyways, enjoy:
Thanks to snsd_9@soompi + kittyshroom for the tip.
