We heard that the SM TOWN Live 2010 concert in Seoul is confirmed to be held on August 21st a few days ago with many SM artists listed to perform like SNSD. According to Casper@Allkpop, SM TOWN Live 2010 will be going on a “world tour.” If you recall previous years, SM TOWN Live Concerts were held domestically in South Korea as well as a few other countries of Asia, such as Bangkok and Shanghai. This year, however, SM Entertainment is gonna take it to the next level and hold one in Los Angeles, California (yes, in the US!). It was said that the one in Los Angeles will be held at the Staples Center on September 4th followed by the SM TOWN Live 2010 Concert at Hongkou Stadium in Shanghai, China on September 11th, and another one Tokyo, Japan, which the date is not revealed yet.

To be honest, when I heard the news, my heart skipped a beat because I never imagined an SM TOWN Live Concert in the states. In the past, I remember commenting on previous SM TOWN Live Concert posts and saying, “aww…i’m jealous. They should have one in the states.” Who knew one day, my wish has come true and I’m sure I’m not the only person who had this wish :] Though I’m from the East Coast and I’m not sure if I’ll be attending because that’s when I’m gonna be moving into my dorm and stuff, I’m excited for those who are gonna be going. If only they had concerts in the East Coast!

It’s been a while since we last heard about SM Town Live Concerts, but I guess we’ll be hearing more about it as August 21st gets nearer. According to Yurui912 & bossa747@twitter, the SM Town Live 2010 concert is confirmed to be held on August 21st.
It appears that posters/ads of the event is floating around in Korea at the moment, especially on transportation buses. I’m assuming this particular one is being held in Seoul, Korea. The actual article where the picture above came from mentions that BoA, Trax, and DBSK’s Changmin and Yunho will most likely be there. I don’t think it mentions SNSD, Super Junior, Kang Ta, Shinee, f(x), etc., but they should be there, right? (hope that SNSD’s promotions in Japan won’t prevent them from attending because I demand BoShi –BoA & Soshi– interactions!).

Just yesterday, we posted that IY’s season 2 G7 members were seen at Japan’s airport and that they will be staying there for perhaps filming and other events. To our surprise, Sunny was also present with the IY season 2’s G7 members and as we already know, Sunny, Yuri, and 4Minute’s Hyun Ah, were replaced with new G7 members for the new season (which is sad :[). Anyways, a fancam of the members along with IY’s MCs were uploaded and you can spot Sunny Bunny (–ironically “folding-screen” Hyomin is following shortly behind Sunny).

On the 25th, if you recall, Music Bank held the Half-Year K-Chart where there were a bunch of special stages and at the end, the girls were the ones to take home the trophy. However, what sparked most of our attention about the Half Year K-Chart was probably what happened during the idol-filled special stage (cover of Kelly Clarkson’s “My Life Would Suck Without You”).
Taeyeon was off-key toward the end and according to Soshified and a fan present that day,

Two days ago (considering Seoul time), 100 lucky fans, who had bought the LG Cyon Cooky model, were chosen to attend the LG Cooky Date with SNSD. To freshen the minds of those who forgot about the event, it was sponsored by LG (the cellphone company the girls have been endorsing –i.e. LG chocolate/LG cooky–) and close-friend/comedian, Kim Shinyoung, was the MC at the event. A couple of fan accounts have been written shortly after and they have been translated for us to read and enjoy :)!
Today’s Cooky Date was really precious.
I personally think it was better because Shinyoung unnie hosted it. Keke.
With witty words here and there, she was hosting from about 20 minutes before the girls arrived.

Just recently, Jessica was at the opening of American fashion designer’s, Tory Burch‘s, flagship store in Seoul. Krystal, her younger sister, was also at the opening as well as other celebrities (i.e f(x)’s Sulli, JYP’s new singing group, “Miss A”, and actress Lee Si Young).

As you may know, the “2010 World Cup” event is held in South Africa this year and South Korea has recently advanced to Top 16 (their scores — S.Korea vs. Greece 2-0/S. Korea vs. Argentina 4-1/S.Korea vs. Nigeria 2-2) in the 2010 World Cup. With that said, since the beginning of the 2010 World Cup event, many of South Korea’s singers were spotted in South Africa (to represent their country and cheer on South Korea’s team).
Recently, it was said that the girls were actually spotted in South Africa as well. To be specific, on the streets of South Africa. Yerpp! but what were they doing in South Africa?
