Tiffany, Sunny, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Hyoyeon were on hand recently, to show their support for Korean shoe designer Jinny Kim, as she launched new branches in Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Finance Center.
Our ladies couldn’t have looked more amazing as they browsed (tried on? Purchased? Can Fany resist the allure of heels?) the newly opened boutique’s range of handcrafted Hollywood vintage style shoes.

Though SK has been slow with updates lately since most of our staffers are still on hiatus, we’re trying our best to update as much as we can. In case you missed them and because we love them so much, here are the two most recent UFO Star Calls from Sooyoungie and Sica. Apologies for not having posted them earlier.
(Introducing) It was my first time on a runway. Did you all see that? It was a new challenge for me and it was such a good experience. Truthly I was scared a little (she said more). I didn’t know how I looked. I’d like to take part in other fashion show like this again next time.

German luxury fashion brand MCM held an ‘MCM 2011 S/S Collection‘ fashion show on the 31st of March at the Crystal Ballroom of Lotte Hotel, Seoul. SNSD’s Hyoyeon, Yoona and Seohyun attended the event along with other artists such as SM sunbaes, Yunho and Changmin of TVXQ.
While that was going on, SNSD’s Sooyoung attended the Jain Song fashion show at the 2011/12 F/W Seoul Fashion Week held at SETEC in Gangnam, Seoul.

Last week, pictures of some of the members going GAGA for a photo shoot surfaced and fans wondered what the photo shoot was for. It turns out it’s for the magazine, Vogue Korea. The girls will be featured in the new April 2011 issue of Vogue Korea and the section is supposedly titled ‘Boys Meet Girls’–when lovely modern boys (Jessica, Sooyoung, and Yuri) encounter funky girls (Tiffany, Sunny, and Hyoyeon) . On the Korean Vogue site, a preview of the photo shoot pictures have been released.

Although Sooyoung’s birthday has already passed by, Kwangdong Pharmaceuticals has just used their Twitter to release a fresh new picture of her! The account tweeted “Sooyoung, a member of Vita500 models, SNSD celebrated her birthday in February^^ Although this is a bit late, we will reveal a really fresh photo of her in conjunction with her birthday^^. She’s really pretty~ Who will be next?”

On the 10th of February, SNSD fan cafe members from Cistus (시스터스) and Hwa Soo Eun Hwa (화수은화) sent their wishes for Sooyoung’s 22nd birthday through donations and volunteer work as well as posting a birthday ad in the paper.
