SNSD, along with various other artists, participates in congratulating Arirang for being in its 10th year of broadcasting!

I find it funny how it’s Tiffany who takes the lead and says “Now”… shouldn’t Tae (leader) or Soo (main spokesperson) say it XD?

Today was the broadcast of the 2009 Korean Music Festival and the girls performed Genie and Etude. Guess Yul confused it with last week’s dance special where she got to dance alongside Hyo 😛 She handed her mic to Sooyoung and was in position til Tiffany came up to sing “Dj put it back on” and then did she realize there was no dance solo for her hehe. You can see the girls crackin up, especially Tiffany.

The title is actually a quote by Tiffany. As you all know the girls recorded a special episode for KJE’s Chocolate and we know that the girls’ had a chance to speak about their moms and that Seohyun’s mom actually showed up. It will be in this episode that Tiffany mentions her mom and the death for the very first time.
Talk about the courage it took for Tiff to mention such a memory, I give props to her for being this brave.

…OMG! Just when you think I can’t make anymore >>references outside of SNSD<< that relate to SNSD…
Anyway, I had a long day today but when I finally had time to relax from coming home, I decided to catch up a beat on 2PM and 2AM and I’m so happy I did!
Remember Taeyeon‘s second solo song, Can You Hear Me for the Beethoven Virus drama? Well turns out on August 10th, Jokwon of 2AM sang it on Park Kyung Lim‘s Byul Bam Radio show (Starry Night Radio). Continue reading

So the latest scoop in K-pop news is that front-man G-Dragon (a.k.a. Kwon Jiyong) of Big Bang is finally coming out with his solo album and following in the footsteps of the group’s lead singer, Youngbae (a.k.a. TaeYang) and Daesung.
His album has been long anticipated but because of his other works, producing music/writing lyrics for other YG Entertainment artists and for his group Big Bang, and due to personal matters, his album was continuously pushed back. However, he has found some time finally and everyone’s raving on about the little snippets he’s releasing of the full length album
I had some time to listen to it today and I must say, I’m glad I didn’t ignore it like I had originally planned to. Why you ask? Well if you’ve been paying attention to my other posts where I talk about YG Entertainment and their artists, then you know how much I complain about this whole new image they’ve been using and how much I miss the old YG/Big Bang’s style.
But now I can shut the *bleep* up because here you have former 1TYM rapper and YG-producer, Teddy, 2NE1‘s CL, and G.D. giving you a taste of something good while they brainstorm… (oh and don’t hold your breath, this is SNSD related) Continue reading

If you don’t know by now, Sunmi of the Wonder Girls is a big fan of SNSD‘s Taeyeon. We’ve written multiple posts about the Wonder Girls and their >>relationship with SNSD<< as well as Sunmi’s fangirling love for the leader. And just when you think you’d never hear about the two entities again…
In a recent video by an Allkpop representative in California on August 3rd, Continue reading

Lubbb every SGB episode that the girls are on, and 245 is no exception. I wanted to watch it badly with subs seeing as all 9 were on it & plus, Lee Minwoo was one of the guests -drools-. It’s cute seeing more ‘Sica Effect’ moments again. Well, not gonna spoil the episode. Enjoy :} Credits to ssfsubs@Youtube.

It’s no surprise that the Don is the one who is gaining the most focus amongst the girls these days. Don Jess doesn’t get her title for nothin’, does she?
