As reported earlier on,both Tiffany & Yuri are set to leave their MC roles on MBC Music Core after today’s episode. It seems like only yesterday when they took up the job but it has been 1 year and 4 month already,ever since April 2009.

Seriously love this duo when they MC. Although I don’t understand a majority of what they’re saying, you can still tell how much they’ve improved over the many months. I showed my friend a recent MuCore cut and the first thing she says is “Wow, they’re really great talks especially Yuri and Tiff is just mad gorgeous.” Coming from a Korean that isn’t into Kpop but does like YulTi thanks to my influence 😀.

Update : Yonghwa & Seohyun will be hosting Music Core together with Yuri as one day special MCs.

Nearly three weeks back,Tiffany & Yuri announced that they will be taking a break from their MC roles on MBC Music Core.

Time flew,and they are supposed to return together tomorrow,the 18th of June.
Unfortunately,due to Tiffany’s worsening vocal cord nodule,she is not going to make it so.

An official stated that her comeback will be postponed to next week instead. Yuri will still continue MCing as per normal,although it is unclear as to whether is she going solo or with a partner.

Let us all wish Fany a speedy recovery and Yuri the best of luck!

This is the day we’ve been waiting for… SNSD performed Star Star Star (Byul Byul Byul) and Oh! on MBC Music Core. The nine girls sang the highly-anticipated Star Star Star (full song!) and as expected, the song showcased their vocals very well.
