It’s been confirmed that the girls, along with other artists including DBSK, KARA, BEAST, and 4minute, will perform at ‘K-Pop Festival’ Music Bank in Tokyo on July 13th. The event will be taking place at the Tokyo Dome (oohlala)

For ‘Children’s Day’, which is May 5th in Korea, ‘Dispatch News’ interviewed our girls. In the interview, a variety of questions were asked by children to Korea’s national girl group. The questions included members’ handphone numbers (ohlala!), reasons for wearing hot pants, and whether they get along with Super Junior or SHINee better.

On February 21st, SBS-CNBC News broadcasted an interview with Intel Korea’s Han In Soo, discussing SNSD as the new faces of Intel Asia. Going past the label as ‘just another girl group’, the girls have moved on to become Hallyu stars, representing one of Korea’s most important and exportable facet- KPop. With their relatively new status as an international group, SNSD have become the target models for big name corporations. This time, Intel Asia won the coveted business deal, and here’s their interview to show the effects of working with the girls!

For the second time in a row, Sports Korea awarded both “Star of the Year” and “Artist of the Year” to SNSD!
3 consecutive hit songs- “Oh!”, “Run Devil Run”, and “Hoot”- topped off yet another successful year for the girls both at home and internationally. Ever since their debut showcase held at Ariake Colosseum this past August, the girls have quickly become a household name in Japan, gaining a whole new sector of fans.
Despite their huge success worldwide, SNSD were surprised at receiving the two titles on December 25th. In the waiting room at Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, the girls showed their honest reactions to the newly added awards under their belts:

One of my most favourite emcees,Kim Jaedong,recently had the opportunity to interview one of my top favourite members,Sooyoung. I still remember the days they used to be on Star Golden Bell frequently.
