Okay, so it’s 23:50 and I just got back from seeing The Proposal with hottttttiiiiie (was that emphasis enough?) Ryan Reynolds and beautiful, miss talented, Sandra Bullock and now…. I have nothing to do cuz my mom told me to get my ass home early this time 😦 Sigh, Asian parents. Why don’t they go on longer vacations?!

Anyway, so it’s too early to update anything new about SNSD and now I’m quite bored because you can only chat with your friends for so long before the chats seem to form its own e-silence (wow Maria, you sound sooo cool making up internet words). So I decided… 😀 Why not have some fun? It’s been a while since I’ve done something to make Cindy our readers happy, right? So I decided, since I’ve been pretty much quiet with my real thoughts on the MV, song, and comeback performance to share just a smidgen of what I want to get off my chest.

[09.06.26] SNSD Grabs 1st Place for First Half of 2009

SNSD’s Gee swept KBS2TV’s Music Bank show as the biggest song for the first half of 2009. Being SNSD’s 10th first place finish for the show, it gathered attention for its longevity in popularity.

On the 26th, at the KBS Hall in Seoul Yeoido, KBS2TV’s Music Bank held its mid-year special, with SNSD’s Gee taking the first place prize. Following SNSD’s first place wins on January 16th, 23rd, 30th, February 6, 13th, 20th, 27th, March 6th, and the 13th, this was their tenth win for them. In tears, SNSD’s Sooyoung said “Thank you so much. We just want to say thank you to all the fans that waited for us.”

Ok screw my other post, I spent so long typing it and staring at the screen that the freaking perfs are out. Hey you all!

If you’re all bleary eyed and still half awake, join the boat! I’ve been snooping around for the half hour looking for the MV, but no signs of it. According to what I’m hearing on the shoutbox in soshified is that there may be a delay, and they need to reshoot some of the scenes/closeups due to their uniforms/hats.

So yeah. *disappointed* I’ll still keep snooping whenever I can for the MV but have no fears! THEY WILL BE AT MUBANK TOMORROW! Or well, I hope so, keep your fingers crossed!

This one goes to >>Koolau<< because he/she asked for some help in music terms but I compeltely missed the request. Hopefully this teaches you a bit more. If I have some time to do Gee, I’ll try and do it. If I don’t, here’s a >>good site<< with pretty helpful info and it’s short and concise!

For those who don’t know, Etude is French for musical composition or lessons/studies. Also, Etude is a song also sung by BoA in her fourth Korean album (My Name) which also shares the same song writer as SNSD’s Etude. If you haven’t guessed already, I seriously wanted SNSD to remake >>BoA’s version<<!

Anyway, onto the color coded fun!
