I just saw this in soompi posted by chinkypikachu (originally upped by aju @ tumblre) and I thought it was hilarious.

It figures Jessica would be the dark one :)!

And yes, I will admit I’ve seen this show before (over 10 years ago!). Definitely not my cup of team. I thought it was a crappy version of scooby dooXpower puff girlsXcharliesangel.

It feels like SNSD has been really doing a lot this year… good to know they had a good rest for cheosuk. I must say I am excited for an ‘original’ comeback as oppose to a different language cover!

Anyways, you probably know that Daum paid good money recently to make Soshi wallpapers and screensavers for the world to stare at for hours on end. Similar to its rival, search portal Naver also featured some SNSD love last week, but in the form of advertisements of other companies. Yoong completely took over both the top and side banners with Domino’s and INNISFREE advertisements!

Speaking of advertisements, it is well known that our Deer Yoona has a good number of endorsements under her belt with companies such as Clean & Clear, YeJiMin, and S-Oil. The company that you would often associate with Yoona however, is probably INNISFREE.  It seems the company just can’t get enough of the girl, but what were their reasons for selecting her in the first place?

Last week, the whole world celebrated as 33 men were rescued from a Chilean mine. After more than two months, the miners made the 20 minute travel to escape. Spectators held their breath as a capsule pulled each man out, as they were aware of the many possible disasters, such as the capsule breaking, etc etc.

The last miner out was Luis Urzua, a man who risked his own life to ensure that all the other workers would be brought to safety first. A hero in his own right, Urzua was a true captain making sure he did his job as best as he could.

This isn’t too unrelated, so just wait for it:

Now our very own Snsdkorean staffer may not be Chilean, or a miner, or life threatened, or a hero, or even trapped in anything for 70 days, but I do believe that he shares very similar traits with Luis Urzua.

SNSD’s “Gee” Included In A Chinese Orchestra Performance

Although this particular performance was performed in August, the video of the performance by the Chinese orchestra, “Nanyang Polytechnic Chinese Orchestra,”  surfaced on Youtube just recently. The orchestra performed a medley of KPOP songs, titled “Hallyu Songs of Fame.”

According to the video’s details, the performance was at the YFEST 2010 in Esplanade Concert Hall, Singapore. The performance was arranged by Mr. Tan Kah Yong while the orchestra was conducted by Mr. Mike Chiang.

The “Hallyu Songs of Fame” medley includes many popular KPOP songs and of course, SNSD’s “Gee,” can’t be missing, right? (NO IT CAN NOT!)

A recent news program broadcasted about the girls’ predebut days and interviewed the awesome kid leader. Among the cuts of the girls’ predebut days, you can actually see young Jessica singing in Mandarin. I don’t know about you guys, but this is the first time I heard her sing in Mandarin and she sang amazingly in the foreign language!
