Money is Happier when Soshi is on it.

You know, somebody could probably live an almost soshi-endorsed lifestyle: one that only uses the food, clothing, and electronics that have featured the girls before. While there’s obviously still a few industries that have yet to advertise with the girls, it’s only a matter of time right? Furniture models.. ohmygawd! But what does one do about money? How are you going to buy your things in an soshi manner? Have no fear, Happy Money is here!

Don’t you just miss SNSD on variety shows? Have no worry, on the recent fan-signing Sooyoung promised that they’ll appear more on variety shows this time around. Today, November 11, we got two TV appearances from the girls. \o/

As reported earlier, Sooyoung, Sunny, Seohyun, Yuri, and Taeyeon guested on KBS2 variety show “Happy Together”. The shows is hilarious even without sub, as expected. Well, you can expect a lot from MC Yoo Jaesuk, Park Myungsoo, Park Misun, and Shin Bongsun + Soshi dorks combo. The girls always shines on variety shows, imo. :]

Sky is blue, grass is green, and South Korean army loves them SNSD.
soshism

On MBC “Golden Fishery” corner, “Radio Star”, veteran singer Psy said that girl group have huge impact in South Korea’s military forces. He added, “In the army, everything is about SNSD. SNSD is like a religion there”. Is it just me or whenever South Korean male celebrity enlisted in the army, most of them will convert to Soshism? I guess the power of nine already took over South Korean’s army camp completely.

Psy and the “Radio Star” guys also talked about their favorite SNSD members. Continue reading

Throwback: SNSD’s First Drama Cameo

A rare video clip of SNSD‘s appearance on MBC drama “Kimcheed Radish Cubed” (Ggakdugi) has garnered attention. The drama was aired in late 2007 and the girls were just debuted with their single “Into the New World”. So yes, “cameo”  isn’t  quite the right word because at that time the girls weren’t even half as famous as they’re now.

I remember watching this drama but I didn’t even notice the girls back then D: Continue reading

Let’s hear some REAL vocals!

Ever wondered how our girls sound with MR removed for My Best Friend? Ever wondered who actually sings during the chorus? Or do you just need an excuse to watch their MuCore perf again?

😛 Wish Granted!

Super koodos to (CR): winterm3lon2 @ youtube

I really enjoyed watching and listening. I guess if you haven’t realize by now, this is why some of the girls are main vocals and some of the girls dance better :P. And oh! Doesn’t their outfits and the background take you back to Kissing You days!?!?!? Kissing you oh my love~!

KEYrea goes HOOT.

Tags

, ,

If you didn’t know, SHINee’s Key is known to follow girl group dances quite closely, often being able to imitate them on variety shows. This includes Miss A, 2NE1, and of course SNSD. With a new song out from the girls, he will show some SM family love right?

As expected!

But of course, there’s much more to hoot’s success than Key and PSYs imitations.  As silis7noy2 (a sone to dote on) explains, Hoot was not expected to be as amajjang as it turned out to be in Korea~

Gee gets more than 100k sales

Continuing the Japanese Domination, our very own girls followed Genie with Gee in Japan which was released on 20th October.

How well have they done? They have maintained the top 5 ranking in the Oricon Weekly Singles chart for the third week, finishing at 5 on the third.

Moreover, the Gee single had recorded 13,320 sales in the third week making the total number: 102,881

Want a little bit of comparison to their increasing popularity? While Genie took 8 weeks to beat 100,000 copies, Gee took 3.

Here’s hoping that the girls popularity in Japan continue to sky-rocket, I do like the girls singing in Japanese personally :P.
