While I was on my hiatus, our Boss Lady posted >>a quote<< from a friend of ours (Tama Mama) that gained quite the response. Now, I’m sort of outdated on my SNSD and Kpop news but I tried to keep up with as much as I could. It’s hard really, considering that I don’t visit forums often and there aren’t many people I can talk to who are well versed in the Kpop industry but I wanted to share my view on this topic because I feel as though fans (SNSD and SM) and readers may have misunderstood some things. SNSD Finishes “Tell Me Your Wish” Promotions on the 15th

It’s already OVER!?! Blasphemy! As far as I could tell, I thought we were just getting started! I can’t believe the promotions are going to end. But then again, our girls needs their rest and they did hint at overseas activities. But until the 15th rolls around, I’m just gonna put this track on repeat and break my iTunes play count record. That, and watching the MV and individual performances too many times over.

After approximately 50 days, SNSD will conclude their promotions for “Tell Me Your Wish” with their last broadcast on the 15th.

According to a broadcast representative, SNSD will hold their last stage for their second mini album on MBC’s “Show! Music Core” that will be aired on the 15th. Continue reading →

SNSD and 2ne1 Top Philippines Chart

Even after so many months had passed and Gee promotions done with, it has still earned number 1 on the “Trendsetters” chart followed by 2ne1’s I dont Care.

Here’s the official article (Oh nice Honor Society, Demi, and Archuleta on the list)

SNSD and 2NE1 dominated the Philippine music chart.

If we look at the Philippine music chart (Chart Central) above, SNSD’s ‘Gee’ is first place in the ‘Trendsetters’ section from August 9-15. 2NE1, which includes a member from the Philippines, is second place in the same category with the song ‘I Don’t Care.’

On August 15, another SGB feat. our girls will be aired! This time it’s just Yoong, Soo, Sica, and Seo, BUT there will also be Kara, 2PM/AM, and Shinee members! I cannot wait!

It seems like SM is really giving Fany and Taeyeon a rest these days with a lot less activities compared to before/the rest of the girls.. variety shows, special dances, and charity acts. I  think this is a winwin situation as the other girls get a chance to shine more and TaeNy gets to rest more. I’m already seeing improvements in both their conditions! ❤ Taeny Tae and Fany! Better stop saying TaeNy or else -gulp-!

It’s sad to say that >>the list near the bottom of the previous post, was A LIE!! & was apparently made by a fan<< (Sorry for the false news). I was actually looking forward to it. But that’s okay, because the girl group special is still happening and they will be performing Super Junior’s “Sorry Sorry” and 2PM’s “Again & Again” for the Summer Break Special. There will be VTR ‘Chat of the Young Girls’ too, in which the 5 teams [SNSD, KARA, Brown Eyed Girls, 4Minute, and 2NE1, are to send out their representative(s) for this special VTR filming ; about 1-2 members are selected from the team, for the VTR filming.]
