As you know, SNSD has been hired by jTBC to host their very own variety show, which is titled “Girls’ Generation and Dangerous Boys'”
The girls will become mentors to five teenagers who have strayed off the path a bit. And of course the goal is for the girls to bring these young boys back onto the correct path.
The variety show will track the progress of these boys every week through training and mentor ship from the girls. Which member do you think will have the most impact on the boys? Personally, I’m going with Tiffany because she is widely known for her caring nature and I’m sure she’ll be very patient as well. My second pick would have to be Seohyun because she is such a role model and perfect student. If the boys follow Seohyun’s lead, they will no doubt be transformed into better people!
The first episode airs December 4th at 7:30PM KST.

This sounds interesting!! I’m sure going to watch it! 😀
Dangerous SNSD?! Now that’s something worth spazzing over.
*Looks at angels*
*NOSEBLEED* ❤
Omg those guys will be mesmerized by them..! Will the guys really pay attention to what the girls say about changing them? I think the guys will appear shy in front of them and obey them, focusing on being with SNSD and not bringing themselves onto the correct path. I sincerely hope the boys will change, and treat this experience as a lesson learnt!
Haha I am kinda envious actually with them having SNSD being mentors. Hope the show is successful!
Dangerous boys? are our girls will be mentoring a bunch of teenager boys? I kinda worry of that…you know …teenager boys….bad attitude versus our nine earthly angels?
I hope our girls have some skills/ability that we don’t know yet so they can handle these boys…
Umm… all those boys just want to have sex with SNSD. I don’t see anything positive out of that. Because if I’m a straight teenage boy again, and came out of some troublesome background, that’s all I would try to do, find ways to have sex with an SNSD. The only way this will not be a disaster is if all boys are gay or stuck in closet, and we know there are lots of those in Korea. Even then, I have a feeling that this show won’t lasts as long as expected.
LOL…your comment is very very straight forward…….
So true. I’m not having high hopes for this show…
+1 I believe this show is going to be scripted. How easy they can find the right dangerous boy? LOL
Haha, i agree.. ^^,
but i hope nothing (bad) will happen.. ^^,
well, tbh, i wouldn’t generalize boys like that, just because you would try to have sex with a snsd member, if given the chance. you are clearly not the standard. and also, i don’t really think that sex, or talking openly about this on a television series, is common in any culture. it might or might not be scripted. what i find surprising is, that you actually throw in the closeted gays here. where did that come from? just if these boys, let’s just assume, don’t want to have sex with snsd, but instead, let’s assume again, really want help, it makes them gay, cause they are not controlled by their dicks? you lack logic. also, i think it’s quite offensive and groundless what you wrote here.
Well, I think each of them will have a part in bringing out the bests of those lads. Their faith to God alone is already a good instrument for guiding these youths and so with the others as well.
I’m not sure misguided youths are really going to be affected by the influence of god, especially considering how common atheism is in south korea (i.e. that not all of the girls are likely religious at all)
I understand your point.
I’m glad you’ve shared how different each of us can be.
Thank you for widening mine.(^^,)
I’m just anticipating how each of the girls can affect these youths’ lives.
SNSD fighting!
I’m also hoping that everything will turn out well for both parties.
What? Korea has a huge Christian following, they send the 2nd most missionaries compared to America, atheism is not that common.
only roughly 30% of the people in south korea are christian. close to 50% are atheists and the rest 20% is buddhist. this is roughly stated how it is.
Which channel issit?
Most people are saying the guys are just gonna walk all over them. I dunno… I know the girls’ can be empathetic but I’d like to see them
go gangsta on their asstake a stern approach as well.Positive encouragement for the most part but a good kick in the pants when needed. 😀
Hahah it feels like HelloBaby Season2~!
Just with more kids, and without Kyungsan hmf 😦
It’s funny though.. how can they find “dangerous boys” its notlike u can approach someone and tell them “your son is bad so we like them to cast in this show”
I really dont see it… I dont understand the idea… Boys how old? Because if they are teenagers i dont think is a good idea. I hope I’m wrong.
Kinda disappointed with the concept of the show. I was really hoping for a fun, skit-filled variety show with games and such. This… I don’t know. It’s obviously going to be scripted and that means it will kinda suck.
wow, I kinda wish I was a bad kid now… LET SNSD PUNISH ME><!!!
It’s really not fair! The bad kids got tutored by SNSD while the good kids got nothing but a “good boy” and a little tap on the back… Way to incentive bad behavior =P
I think just being with the 9 ladies alone will bring out the best in anyone 😉 !
Anyway, scripted or not, precautions will definitely already be taken to ensure the Girls come to no harm during the filming of each episode :).
wow. it’s definitely interesting and sure to be a hit.
it’s great to see they have their own show~
but I find the concept unexciting.. ( sorry :[ )
At first, I really hoped that SNSD will hosts the fun and variety-typed show.. But what if the ‘bad boys’ just pretend to be kind in front of them(i mean the angles), and just continuing their bad behaviour when they not recording?
btw, does it airs in KBS World?
I love SNSD but I don’t get the concept of the show. It would be better for Males like Super Junior or SHINee to mentor them. How are a bunch of young girls going to teach these boys to be men, it just doesn’t make any sense.
aww I like how the show has a deep meaning behind it 🙂
you mean it being overly sexist?
p.s hyoyeons tomboy outfit is cute
deffinetly going to watch this, i wonder how the girls will do as a mentor.
I think Sooyoung, Yuri, Sunny, Seohyun and Taeyeon are best fit for being mentors =]
but I am worried about Jessica as we all know she is the Ice Princess =]
Anyway, really look forward to the shows!!
SNSD FIGHTING~~~
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! i was hoping for a fun, happy, hilarious, playful game show or something!!! Or something like Horror movie factory…. Not something serious like this..
And wow come on.. ‘Be bad, get mentored by SNSD’ …. lollll not fairrrrr >.<
mmmmmm any show staring our girls will be AWESOME anyway but I still don't really like this concept.
*sighhh~*
gahhh i wish i was a problem child >.< stupid good behavior WHY COULDN'T I BE BAD
and im going with tiff as well she's been through a lot and im sure she would know how to relate to them.
how about Sooyoung, i don’t know but she will be a good teacher XD lol
I say Seohyun will be the best mentor. 🙂
maybe “dangerous boys” theme associated with the launch of the new song “the boys” but why not “bad girls”, if I may give advice, in the future please made more flexible the show title, such as dangerous teens or etc, just to avoid favoritism between boys and girls, and also “boy” will be severely limiting the development – if you intend to extend the show…so it’s all up to you, for me as long as SNSD can smile and laugh and not harmed. This is their show, I just want to support them.
This isn’t a good idea…
this might become interesting, though i have to say that it disappoints me, that it’s only boys getting the chance of being mentored by girls’ generation. i don’t really think it’s fair.
Pingback: Tiffany Models for InStyle Magazine « SNSD Korean
I agree with the view that Tiffany and Soo Hyun are able to perform this work, because the Tiffany open and educated as well as Soo Hyun, Although it is the youngest member, but it is exemplary and diligent student
I wish you success always (^o^)
I gladly be the troubled dangerous boy just to let them be my mentor
Hm, like everyone else. I was hoping for them to do a more fun variety type of show with obstacles and games. The episode where they were in Running Man was amazing and if they do a variety show like that, it’ll surely be popular and a hit. But I want to see for myself if this is going to be good. Hope it is. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be scripted which sorta sucks but, oh well. 🙂 Love the girls. And Seo will definitely be a good mentor. Ice Princess Sica, there’s always that charm about you. Haha.
I watched the first ep without sub and still find it funny, and personlly, I think yoona and hyoyeon will be most successful at helping the boy out cause they dcided to approach him like a friend, and throughout their convos, the boy seems to open up to them automaticaly while being humorous at the same time…all in all, first ep was a must see, p.s. Seohyun lovers will just crack up at every close up
