The new rhythm game Girls’ Generation SHAKE has been dominating the iPhone gaming world! Since its release on November 18, SHAKE has been topping the iTunes apps charts in the music game category in several countries including Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore, and is also highly ranked in Japan, America, Canada and Australia, once again proving SNSD’s growing popularity around the world.
Taeyeon and Sunny are like twins: not only can you match their childish faces and petite statures that have led them to be known as the Danshin Duo, but their attitudes and understanding of one another are also matched. Their being roommates means they spend the most time with each other – it means that they understand one another a little more than anyone else.
While the two are dressed in different outfits for the Singles magazine photo editorial, one takes no notice due to their identical figures and expressions. They also sat down with Singles to talk SNSD’s return to the Korean music scene, fashion, and their friendship.
Despite the music video being released over a month ago, the English version of ‘The Boys’ is now publicly available on SNSD’s very own VEVO channel! Although both versions were unveiled at the same time on October 19 on the SMTOWN YouTube channel, the English one was blocked a few days after its release. Only until recently has it been made accessible to most counties on SNSD’s official VEVO channel.
So why make it available now? A possible reason is SNSD’s upcoming international maxi single which was said to be released on November 19. That was four days ago. Up to now, there has been no official statement regarding its delay, but if anything, the English version of ‘The Boys’ being made available on SNSD’s VEVO channel is some indication that it’s still to come. November 29 has been rumoured as its new release date.
The second episode of Invincible Youth 2! The whole episode is very lighthearted and fun as the girls attempt to catch small octopuses, some more successful than others. Watch out for the awesome mud races and fights near the end. Amber/Suzy is turning out to be the it couple (or at least mine). Don’t worry, veteran Sunny has yet to find a replacement for her folding screen.
