If you recalled three days ago, NAYUTAWAVE records hinted that there were more ‘BIG NEWS‘ to come. The big news was regarding the trailer vol. 2 above.

NAYUTAWAVE also tweeted that the girls are confirmed to appear at ‘MTV Video Music Aid Japan’ on June 25th. They will be attending the event along with SHINee.
‘Genie’ is nominated for 3 awards: ‘Best Karaokee! Song’, ‘Best Video Of The Year’, and ‘Best Group Video’. For these awards, the girls are running up against many world stars like Lady Gaga, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Black Eyed Peas, Linkin Park, Utada Hikaru, etc.

Only 60% are SNSD songs in your playlist ?!! To be honest, mine is 99% SNSD with only 1% (i.e. 1 song) not sung by our 9 angels 😀 !!! I think I’m worse off 😉 .

The soshified news item says Enlightenment is a company responsible for the graphics.
Arbitrary Greay’s comment from the 1st album teaser thread made it seem like a software (?) program of some kind used to generate animated visualizations to be played in clubs, not unlike an iTunes visualizer on crystal meth.

I’d love to see more examples of Enlightenment’s work to see what SM was so attracted to. I tried to do a net search on Enlightenment + Music + Software etc. but all I got was new-agey kinds of sites.
It’s funny, there are 3 definitions to the word “enlighten” in this post.
The software program, the spiritual question, and the dictionary definition.
Mine’s the third.

Anybody willing to tell me how the MTV VMAJ nomination and award system works/function? A tad bit inquisitive, I have to say.

Enlightenment might be a company after all, as I couldn’t find any information on them either, but my assumption that it was software came from seeing the same visuals used elsewhere in various places, like accompanying Shinichi Osawa remixes or at a ravex live.

Shinichi is a part of ravex, and I haven’t found a link of these visuals used elsewhere not associated with him, so it might be a company under contract, but then ravex is, well, under Avex, so I don’t know if Avex would let them work for UMJ if so, especially for a SM group not under them.

But these visuals don’t seem to be rhythm-based like the Enlightenment visuals are. So Enlightenment might be a company that produces visuals and syncs them to the submitted music. But it would be a scam of a company to reuse the exact same visuals everywhere like that.

the visuals for the teasers could be a hint for their upcoming tour (this was talked about from some by some of the fans). and if UMJ will make a pv for any of the new songs in the album, Taku and Enlightenment will be the one to work on it!
