∙Let It Rain

If you recalled three days ago, NAYUTAWAVE records hinted that there were more ‘BIG NEWS‘ to come. The big news was regarding the trailer vol. 2 above.

NAYUTAWAVE’s tweet translated:

“SNSD * Taku Takahashi (M-Flo) Collaboration! The 2nd teaser for the album materializes! Enlightenment is also in charge of the video! Look forward to SNSD’s edgy image revealed today after 3PM.”

[Quoted from Soshified]

M-Flo worked on the remix you hear in the trailer while an artist called Enlightenment worked on the visual.
To note, M-Flo is a well-known Japanese hip-hop group and Tiffany is also a big fan of m-flo.
In an interview from the “Marugoto K-POP GIRLS Magazine’, the girls were once asked, ‘do you guys have a favorite J-POP song and Karaoke song that you’re particularly good at?’ Tiffany replied:
Tiffany: A senpai from my company, BoA’s “Possibility”. (Note: Senpai is the same as Sunbae.) In addition to that, I also like m-flo, I have all of their albums.

Not to mention that for the girls’ compilation album, ‘Sweet Memories with Girls’ Generation’, released in 2008, Tiffany chose one of m-flo’s songs:
06 Tiffany – Loop In My Heart (m-flo Loves Emyli & Yoshika)
BoA, their sunbae, had also collaborated with M-Flo in the past for the song, ‘the Love Bug’.

NAYUTAWAVE also tweeted that the girls are confirmed to appear at ‘MTV Video Music Aid Japan’ on June 25th. They will be attending the event along with SHINee.

‘Genie’ is nominated for 3 awards: ‘Best Karaokee! Song’, ‘Best Video Of The Year’, and ‘Best Group Video’. For these awards, the girls are running up against many world stars like Lady Gaga, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Black Eyed Peas, Linkin Park, Utada Hikaru, etc.

E-ma, the Japanese cough drop/candy that the girls have been endorsing, has a new candy campaign.

Notice the new look on the tin container; it now has the GG emblem (thanks to PeachBlossum for tip).
