Earlier today, the girls performed at the ‘Angel Price Music Festival’ held at Lotte World Ice Rink. They performed “Run Devil Run”, “Hoot” and “Gee”. A few pictures and fanaccounts have surfaced and some of them, I have to say is rather shocking.
It was said that during the girls’ ‘Run Devil Run’ performance, a stranger came on stage and dragged Taeyeon off.

SNSD stopped performing and went after her. They looked confused, worried,etc. I exactly don’t know what happen afterwards..
but SNSD continued performing Hoot. Taeyeon, on the other hand.. was not very happy.
Sunny tried to help Taeyeon by grabbing her back/arm.
…the guard wasn’t even there.
…hyoyeon went after taeyeon.
anyways, Taeyeon may be angry but she put it aside and kept performing, trying to keep up with a smile.

When Taeyeon was being dragged away, Sunny tried to help pull Taeyeon back.
Luckily, fans at the event reported that Taeyeon was not harmed and according to Koreaboo, after the incident was resolved, she continued on and finished performing with the rest of the members professionally and smiling.
When I first heard the news, I was honestly outraged. How could such a thing happen? It’s REDUNKULUOUS! But I’m glad to hear that Taeyeon is alright and she endured it bravely as expected by our kid leader.

OMG WTF?!! What happened to security for these things? Random people just rushing the stage grabbing the performers? I’m glad she wasn’t hurt but anything could’ve happened, next time they should make sure that the authorized people are the only ones allowed on stage.
Poor Taeyeon, I could imagine how she and the girls must’ve felt…bad security.

And no guards came immediately? Un-freakin’believable… normally they’d have the side of the stage on tight watch or something. Sunny and Hyo had to go after her…

I’m trying my best to keep calm and not go ballistic upon hearing and reading about this news…
Good thing at least that Taeyeon wasn’t visibly disturbed afterwards and was smiling and professional
and reassuring despite what had just happened to her which anyone would find traumatizing… I mean look at her terrified/shocked face as she was being dragged 😦 Who wouldn’t be scared..she was about to get abducted from the looks of it! It seems like he was doing it with enough force to hurt her too seeing that she wasn’t able to fight back for whatever reason..glad Sunny was able to help her!
I am angry at that crazy guy for doing such to Taeyeon but I hope that people calm down and not go about with death threats and such. It’s understandable to feel enraged at the guy for doing this..but this was completely avoidable and I’m sure if security measures really aren’t good then this would happen m lot more what with some scary crazy fans out there..so this is really the fault of security which I hope will be reprimanded for this..
I hope this crazy guy gets detained for a long time (it’s probably for his own good anyway since he’s pretty much a dead man walking now that everyone knows his face and what hes done. I wouldnt be surprised if I hear about people beating this guy up on the streets one day..unfortunately)
Calm down everyone and lets just give Taeyeon alot of love and support~ I hope she isn’t too traumatized and I hope this doesn’t affect how she is around fans…let’s all be glad she’s safe and sound and that the guy didn’t do anything worse (or wasnt able to). It’s okay to be protective and angry, but no one deserves to die and I’m sure even Taeyeon wouldn’t want her fans to hurt/kill someone [im sure the rest of snsd feels just as angry as we all are..lol I can only imagine how Jessica looked] because of her..she might even feel guilty about it and disappointed..this girl has a heart of gold, you know. I’m sure she appreciates the overwhelming support and all of her fans, but hopes things don’t go too far. Really, I would not have been as strong as she was [whether she was just faking it to be professional or not..id understand completely if she was faking it though] had I been in her position..I wouldve just refused to perform and either b*tched out backstage or cried from the trauma. I’m glad she’s so much better than that. 🙂

POOR Taeyeon 😦 !!! I’m certain ALL the 9 “angels” are shocked by the intrusion of this “Devil” on stage and his (thankfully) unsuccessful “abduction” of our beloved Taengoo 😉 ! Professional as the Girls are, you can obviously see from the subsequent photos that the smiles on their faces are a little “forced” by then :(.
Whoever was in charge of security then ought to be sacked forthwith !!! The intruder looks a little “unbalanced” in the screen capture shots. Perhaps he is an escapee from the local asylum 😉 😀 ?!! Whoever he is, hopefully the local authorities will persecute him in a court of law to the fullest extent of the law for his crime.
As for Taeyeon, may The Good Lord watch over her in this hour of need and may His Peace that passes all understanding Comfort her and give her Peace :).

I wonder what their perception is now to us fans.
I’ve been dragged off by a stranger before. You would be surprised at how drastic trauma does to change your perception towards things. I’m uncomfortable in crowds now and I hate any person that wears anything uglier than casual (i.e. blank white shirt) in public. There’s that unnerving feeling when I see people who don’t look normal. I keep seeing them as evil people no matter what I try to think.
Is it wrong for me to say that I’m now afraid to go meet SNSD?

I understand something like what you’re talking about – having lingering doubts about people, about situations, about oneself. Defaulting to an unhealthy reaction without thinking about it, and not being sure how to move past it. So I deeply hope that the Girls have or find whatever they need to move past this well, and so too that you also find your peace.
We don’t need to associate that man with the fans – on whatever levels he is some combination of disturbed and incompetent. So I don’t think we need to feel that his actions should reflect on any of us. I mean to say, I’m pretty sure you don’t need to feel that way, indicated in your last question.
Also, everybody please remember that we’re better off not hating him either. Care should be taken (and should have been taken) to keep him and anyone else from doing anyone harm, but in the end, he’s still somebody, he’s got a mom and dad and everything. A difficult strength is not to let negativity multiply. I hope that nobody dwells over this to an unhealthy degree, and that the necessary measures will be taken with regards to the safety of the Girls.

A few things to say here. First, I hope that Taeyeon is alright because what that dude did is seriously fudged up. No idea why the heck he did that, perhaps for media attention or to simply grab hold of her. Either way, it’s not appropriate and it shows strong signs of disrespect. I’m glad that Sunny went after Tae, her actions really touched me this time. The screaming is irritating, but I guess it’s part of the ‘atmosphere’ of the performance. The mic volumes piss me off, while some are too loud, other girls can’t be heard. Soshi looks a bit tired here, their performance lacks some sort of energy..but of course that’s just my opinion.. hope they all get better soon after all the heavy promotions in Japan. On a pleasant note, Sunny and Taeyeon look super sexy here. I’m spazzing at Sunny’s facial expression during RDR. Anyway, Stay Strong, Kim Taeyeon! ❤

This is all too surreal. Things like this shouldn’t be happening but they do. Let’s just hope the respective people learn from this incident to avoid possible ones from occurring again in the future.

epic security fail for one…
but the culprit is basically screwed, his mug is posted everywhere and he got caught in the act, no mask no nothing, not very good thinking, only can assume that crazy is crazy and did some crazy to crazy up the crazy.
only glaring thing I see here, is that the place was damn lucky he only wanted to take Teayeon physically, cause he wouldn’t have been able to drag a human out of the stage, too many people to fight through, the organizers better be thanking their lucky stars that it wasn’t an anti with a knife.

Poor Taeyeon unnie~ She must have been shocked and scared at that point! Man, if I was a member of SNSD, I would run like a mad screaming woman and tear Taeyeon unnie away from that man! And I’m so proud to be a sunshiner; Sunny unnie was the fastest in reaction and tried to help. And there seems to be people complaining about the other members not helping, but I don’t think they should because people react in different ways. It’s reasonable to think that the guy was one of the staff. The people at fault should be the security. How incompetent can people be?! Incompetence in my world results in a DEATH SENTENCE! MUA HA HA HA! Seriously though, what type of security system do they have to be able to overlook an audience member? They should have some type of ID card or band to know who is part of the staff and security, shouldn’t they?! UGH!!! I’m only 16, but if I had the authority for security, REGULATIONS, STRICT REGULATIONS, WILL BE MADE!

First, and most importantly, Taeyeon is safe and wasn’t injured. Second, this should serve as a wakeup call to the management, show promoters, and all security “professionals” to NEVER let anything even remotely close to this EVER happen again! You’ve FAILED to the point that a 155cm girl (however Fearless Sunny is) had to try to take matters into her own hands…ugh, i’m so disgusted!

That guy is the enemy of all SNSD fans.
All fans should noe their boundaries but this guy CLEARLY is not a fan, he’s a fuking pervert who shamlessly steps on the pride of SNSD and all which it stands for.
If I was in korea or ever visit korea, I will make it my mission to hunt this douche down and kick his ass and make him feel a million times worse than what Taeyeon-noona felt, if somebody has not already done that.

I was really sad about wad happen, our kid leader is surely still scare about wad happen… How could SME let this type of incident happen anyway… But I am really glad that taeyeon is not hurt or the guy did anything to her, thank for sunkyu rescue:)

I only see Sunny helping Taeyeon. Hyoyeon was backing away. The other members didn’t realize what had happened(everything happen too fast) Hyoyeon wasnt trying to help at all.

Wow that’s a pretty big lapse in security O_O I hope Taeyeon is ok.
As much as I would like to punch this guy in the face, the bad thing is every other SONE is probably looking to do the same. Yeah… that’s not going to end well for him. The guy obviously has a problem(a crazy stalker problem) but hunting him down is probably not the best way to deal with this issue.

WHOA, HEADS UP GUYS. Wall of text.
If I was at that event, the first thing I would have said to that anonymous man after he dragged Taeyeon off the stage would be:
“I don’t approve of your conduct, you slimy catfish! And neither does anyone!”
Haha, anyway, I find it incredibly funny how people get extremely RILED UP about incidents like this. I’m bound to assume that in the tone I’m speaking with, people would automatically assume that I’m mocking everybody who’s obviously disturbed and outraged by such an appalling and socially unacceptable gesture by this man. Feel free to interpret it however way you want to, but bear in mind, I don’t mean what you think I say, let’s begin.

From my side of things, I can understand this anonymous man has some serious brain issues. Unable to restrain his actions and allowing his emotional capacity and obsequious nature (Possible) to overwhelm him and take control of his body. Then, he rashly ascended the stage and fled with Taeyeon. Fortunately, he was detained by security before any more tomfoolery by him could occur, and everything was declared safe for the time being.
It’s unclear what his motive was at the time I’m writing this comment, but from what I can ascertain from the “limited amount of evidence left at the scene of the crime”, it’s probably a harmless motive (Hardcore fan wanting his idol for himself then getting escorted out of the venue by security, understandable). But it’s advisable to remain vigilant, we are unsure of what his intentions are, he might actually be a completely insane man driven by his insatiable and malevolent desire for everything SNSD, and it’s not the ideal fan anybody would want either (Abduction? No way man, no way).

As for Taeyeon, she, the rest of SNSD, possibly other idols and normal K-Pop fans like us has gotten a glimpse of an celebrity’s worst nightmare (Ever since I watched a “certain movie”, I could not look at this any other way). After going through an abject experience, I seriously hope that she wasn’t traumatized by such an unexpected event (As one would tell from her shocked expression) and if she was, all efforts to go for a speedy psychological recovery. This might probably change her perception of fans, but (I made this entire part up) judging from the way she shrugged it off with a cheeky grin, I’m reassured by the fact that her unfathomable resilience would tide her over, and she would resume her schedule as normal, because dwelling on such a unpleasant experience is detrimental to your well-being and it prevents you from moving on.

As for us fans, well, he’s obviously crossed the line, time for internet vigilantism to kick in. Again, from my time as a “research professor at the institute for internet studies”, I’ve seen the wonders of ordinary computer users beyond the borders of Korean related media in general and how they deal justice to “criminals” on the internet. Since South Korea is one the countries in which real life and virtual reality is highly connected together, news of this incident will spread like wildfire due to ubiquitous computer gadgets and devices. This man isn’t safe from internet vigilantism at all, so we’ll see him brought to justice any time soon (SNSD is a hot topic after all).
To compliment Taeyeon’s unwavering perseverance, I don’t think this incident will deter her one bit. I think her perception of her fans might change initially due to the trauma, but she’ll brush it off eventually and return to her original view about us. She might be aware that fans like this exist, but at least most of their fans can regain their senses in no time flat. In fact, I think she’ll end up even stronger in her emotional capacity due to this incident and I don’t see that kind of resilience dissipating or regressing in the long run, so there’s always that light prevailing amidst the darkness.
Because for every one stupid person or anti who dares to defy the law, there are millions of fans, waiting in the shadows, ready to strike, acting on the behalf of out ladies, defending them with unparalleled fervor, and emerge victorious over the enemy. (Corny.)

We should thank that idiot. Really. If this points out to SM to take their responsibilities for the girls’ safety more seriously, then that’s a good thing. I do hope the new security coordinator will perform to a higher standard than the idiot he/she replaces.
About the man who grabbed Taeyeon, he’s obviously mentally unbalanced and delusional and you know what? That’s some scary shite. The crazy ones only make sense to themselves, and are therefore tough to plan against.
Folks, the tragedy here is that for OUR entertainment, for OUR pleasure and enjoyment, Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Sunny, Yuri, Yoona, Jessica, Tiffany, Sooyoung and Seohyun have ALL given up any chance at a normal life, and for the rest of their lives they will have this worry in the back of their heads.
For Taeyeon to come back on stage and smile and assuage our worries… a real trooper, a real leader, a real professional. But underneath, you know she was shaken. You KNOW after the show she had the shakes. By luck, she escaped with no physical injury, but stuff like this leaves mental marks. The group, her parents, the girls’ parents, will be demanding answers from SM, and SM will be demanding answers from the venue staff, and after the finger pointing there will be a dismissal or three and things will be reviewed and new procedures put into place.
But at the end of it, there’s still a young woman who won’t quite be the same young woman she was the day before.
And that pisses me off.

It’s totally calm but like in a really dangerously determinedly scary way. Looked like she could’ve beaten the guy up.
