The Japanese Gee is set to be released tomorrow and guess what? It has just been revealed on the girls’ official website that they will be making a comeback in Korea with a 3rd mini-album soon. Teasers are up, check them under the cut. For the day before yesterday, we had Jessica,Tiffany & Seohyun. And yesterday,Taeyeon,Hyoyeon & Sunny. Now we have the last 3 girls,Yuri,Sooyoung & Yoona!

I have to contain my excitement and spazzing, I’m at work… doh. Amidst all the happiness buries the slight sorrow I can’t help but feel for the girls. They’ve had no break, their workload just doubled with Japanese promotions, and they’re flying everywhere to perform concerts. What other entertainer in this world has the human capacity to handle this much?
SME, no one makes all the money in this world, and no amount will ever be enough. I wish the girls get a breather, we SONEs need a breather too, no one likes it when things get old too quickly. Nevertheless, full support to the 9 and definitely a must buy album.
On first glance, I thought Tiffany had a blond wig, and looked like she was wearing a cheesy outfit appropriate for cosplay events, until I realized that Seohyun, Jessica and Tiffany looked like they were posing for the concept of something familiar to all of us.

Sigh… I don’t really like this. I liked them better when they were more pure.

It looks like the hair at least is going for late ’40’s early ’50’s from the three so far. Jessica’s hilarious. It’s almost as if she’s going for the old stewardess-style, except holding what seems to be a big M1911 (I’m pretty sure those weren’t standard issue for stewardesses ever). Tiffany’s blonde hair seems out of place, but I’ll chock that up to the funky art style of the image. I’ll make final judgment when I see her live with the hair (or in the MV). The thing that looks the most out of place for me is Seohyun’s image. Why is she holding a bow when pretty much everyone else seems to have a sidearm?
Tiffany could be Marilyn Monroe. You’ll just need a mole 😀 And yes, those stills look like they can be made to vinyls. in that case, I’LL BUY THEM and stick em on my walls. Classy.
I think Seohyun might have thought “Guns are too dangerous, unnie. Let’s just use bow & arrows.” But regardless of concepts, I noticed she’s always the innocent/pure one; esp. with the white dress. Now, all she needs is a pair of wings and she can fly around shooting love arrows to JeTi…

It is ‘훗(in Korean)’ and it pronounces ‘hoot’ or ‘hood’. You can find this word at the lower left corner of JeTiHyun’s pinup posters. I’m not sure the meaning of this word because it can be simply a translation of an English word, ‘hood(I don’t think it is hoot)’ or it may be just an onomatopoeia in Korean like ‘Gee(But the meaning is totally different)’.

when i saw that a few of the girls got new hair i figured something was coming up but not this soon and not a korean mini album! i expected them to remain in japan for the rest of the year then comeback in korea at the beginning of 2011. once again this makes me worry a little about how much they’re doing…
I’m liking the concept, it suits them well and is a little sexy and different, a little austin powers. the concept is looking fab on sica. I have a feeling that this album might have trading cards too.
I’m also not liking the blonde hair on tiff or hyos lighter hair. like i even remember in some episode of something i think it was yuri who said to hyoyeon that her blonde hair looked bad when they debuted and here they go give it to her again! haha they should give poor hyo a break especially if she ends up with the crazy loop hair in that silhouette. so yeah SM BLONDE DOESNT SUIT TIFFANY either
