Middle Child Syndrome [mid-l chahyld sin-drohm]:
noun

1) When a middle child – typically in a family of three kids (OR nine) who are close in age – feels left out or neglected.

NOTE: Because the older sibling is the first born and typically an over-achiever, they are the most important and therefore get the most privileges. A younger sibling is the ‘baby’ of the family and gets away with more as well as being the most looked-after. Middle-child syndrome starts when the middle child is squeezed between these two and has trouble finding their ‘niche’ in the family.

But what happens when you have the eldest who’s nearly the shortest, and the youngest acting as the most mature; how could the middle child be anything LIKE a victim of Middle Child Syndrome?

It’s simple.  It’s because she’s not.  And this my friends is what we call: a paradox.

For the final stages of MBC’s Kpop Cover Dance Festival Roadshow 40120, to be held at the Gyeongju Gymnasium in October, Yuri and Tiffany will take the reigns as MC’s alongside YB Band member Yoon Dohyun.

The ‘Kpop Cover Dance Festival Roadshow 40120’ has been holding K-pop dance cover auditions all over the world (40120 meaning the distance across the globe in kilometers) and has featured popular Korean idols as judges.

Preliminary stages have already been conducted in countries including Russia, Brazil, the US, Japan, Thailand, and Spain, with the finals to take place in Korea, where SNSD, TVXQ and 4Minute are said to be in the planning stages for judging.

MBC will begin airing television episodes of the festival roadshow from the 22nd of September in Korea, so keep an eye out for our two favorite MC’s and the rest of the girls’ in the coming weeks.
