Now that the promotions are over, it’s definitely worthwhile just to check out how each of the Genie performances unfolded and see how awesome our girls looked doing what they do best.

I apologize for all the cutoffs of Hyo (stupid WP doesn’t resize carefully enough), and obviously these performances are not encompassing every performance SNSD has done; KJE’s Chocalate, YHC’s Sketchbook, and others aren’t included in the mix, but nevertheless, the pictures already offer enough of a variety as it is.

In all honesty, the girls decked out in the navy blue uniforms just does it for me. But that’s not to say the others are any less awesome! To tell you the truth, these girls managed to do the impossible: Make every fanboys’ wish come true by combining the fantasies of military pwnage only seen in first person shooters from playing hours on end at the local PC-bang, with the sheer babedom that is SNSD. A thumbs up and a salute to these fine ladies.

DJ, put it back on: Tiffany Character Figure Update!

Alright so a while ago I posted some images of the ridiculously awesome Tiffany action figure. And as if the fact that a Tiffany model wasn’t awesome as it is, some updates with images are in order that will serve to blow your mind, guaranteed. And all I can is the end result is nothing short of stunning. Not only is it colorized, but just some clarification from the words of the creator, kimdh08,  himself:

That figure is actually not “action” figure, but just character figure made of resin and epoxy putty. Making figure is one of my hobbies. I do not have plan to sell this figure because I have made it for just fun.

SNSD Finishes “Tell Me Your Wish” Promotions on the 15th

It’s already OVER!?! Blasphemy! As far as I could tell, I thought we were just getting started! I can’t believe the promotions are going to end. But then again, our girls needs their rest and they did hint at overseas activities. But until the 15th rolls around, I’m just gonna put this track on repeat and break my iTunes play count record. That, and watching the MV and individual performances too many times over.

After approximately 50 days, SNSD will conclude their promotions for “Tell Me Your Wish” with their last broadcast on the 15th.

According to a broadcast representative, SNSD will hold their last stage for their second mini album on MBC’s “Show! Music Core” that will be aired on the 15th. Continue reading →

Furthermore, they not only have the Hahaha screensaver and Anycall screensaver that we linked somewhere up in our “Questions? Comments? Requests” section, but they have 16 others which is nothing short of amazing. As if one screensaver wasn’t bad enough to distract me for hours on end…

And did I mention you can “soshi”mize your icons? Granted you’ll need an icon packager called Stardock to actually use them, but I’m sure you’ll find means of acquiring the software somehow…(What? Piracy? Why never!)

In any case, Acc.Sosi is nothing short of a GOLD MINE to satisfy your soshi cravings and show off your pride. So give credit where it’s due and check em’ out!

Just to follow up with Maria’s post, here’s some more in depth info detailing the concert itself. For those you who are unfortunate to not secure one of the 50 coveted spots AND are you in Korea, pricing info is at the bottom, and I must say, 70 000 won for the best seats is relatively cheap compared to most other premium type of packaging for tickets.

A bit of a behind the scenes look at the MV. Some noteworthy comments must be made:

1.  2:05 – 2:43. I couldn’t help but laugh at the entire segment and translation cause it could be taken in oh so many ways. Cue Porno-shidae!

2. The cameraman for all the flirtatious closeups is without a doubt the luckiest man alive.  I would kill to have his job.

All I will say is this article didn’t quite delve into the image aspect of the groups. But regardless, I’m REALLY hoping these girls hit the music show charts soon for Genie, cause I’m still surprised they haven’t yet. Till then, I’m gonna keep the faith strong by putting this track on repeat.
