On MBC “Golden Fishery” corner, “Radio Star”, veteran singer Psy said that girl group have huge impact in South Korea’s military forces. He added, “In the army, everything is about SNSD. SNSD is like a religion there”. Is it just me or whenever South Korean male celebrity enlisted in the army, most of them will convert to Soshism? I guess the power of nine already took over South Korean’s army camp completely.

A rare video clip of SNSD‘s appearance on MBC drama “Kimcheed Radish Cubed” (Ggakdugi) has garnered attention. The drama was aired in late 2007 and the girls were just debuted with their single “Into the New World”. So yes, “cameo”  isn’t  quite the right word because at that time the girls weren’t even half as famous as they’re now.

It’s one lengthy interview, but it’s definitely worth reading. I personally think that 10Asia.co.kr never fail to provide good, if not the best, interviews so I’m glad that they get to interview SNSD again this time!

Girls’ Generation’s debut three years ago did not go unnoticed yet it could be called quiet compared to the feats they achieved in the years to follow — 2009 in particular was a fruitful year for them, placing atop music charts for up to nine weeks straight with song “Gee” which was followed by “Genie” which also saw immense success, winning them multiple prizes at music festivals at the end of the year. well, not really, I just find myself an excuse to post this cute YulTiSic gif 8D

On the recent interview with SPN Daily, it was revealed that Yuri and Tiffany had to battle each other for their lyrics to get included in their latest mini-album, “Hoot”. As we already know, Yuri won the so-called battle by having her lyrics used for the song “내 잘못이죠 (Mistake)“. The girls stated that YulTi battled it out to the very end, but Yuri’s lyrics about unrequited love fit the RnB ballad better than Tiffany’s lyrics about never ending love.

Both are written for Jessica, obviously. It’s okay, Tiff, you might lose the lyrics battle but at least you get the girl! Continue reading →

It’s been awhile since the last time SNSD appeared on radio show. Just now the girls, sans Sooyoung (apparently her mom said she was tripped and got some bruises? :/ ), guested on Sukira (Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio) to promote their latest single “Hoot”. Hosted by SJ’s Leeteuk and Eunhyuk who are close to the girls, this watchable radio should be super fun by default!

The eight girls sang “Hoot”, “My Best Friend”, and “Forever” live on the radio. Yuri also sang few parts of “Mistake”, and of course, the tends-to-forget-lyrics-and-dance-steps-of-her-own-songs Kwon Yuri had to forget the lyrics she wrote herself. Haha the other girls kinda did try to mess with her though XD

Son Anna who will be debuted as a singer soon is gaining a lot of interest after pictures of her trainee days were revealed. Among the pictures revealed, there’s a picture of her with our black pearl Yuri.

Anna was a SM trainee after winning SM singing contest in 2000, but then she left the company in 2004. During her time as SM trainee, she built friendship with Yuri, Sooyoung, Jaejoong, and others. Apparently, Anna is very close to Yuri who actively support her upcoming debut. Based on some pre-debut pictures I’ve seen it looks like that she’s indeed closest to Yuri. Continue reading →

It’s a really good thing that the girls are having quite a long break from their hectic schedule; but us fans are pretty much Soshi-deprived, don’t we? Luckily today we got bunch of new goodies from them!
