I LOVE the BTS MV for the “Lipton Extra Shot” CF (the one where “Just Let It Rain” plays as the background tune). The ladies look extra angelic there :D.
The outifts remind me of the HaHaHa campaign which the ladies participated in back in ’09.
By the way, I dislike tea because of the taste (guaranteed to spew out a fountain of tea upon ingestion), I prefer water instead.

the colorful outfits reminds me of their “ha, ha, ha” mv (must be inspired from there), but i somehow find japanese CM a bit old-fashion…maybe i’m use to the korean HD quality w/ background story lines. but this is really nice too, and i love that they use the “let it rain” for the hot beverage one…it does give you that emotional feel to it :). the girls did great and this was shot months ago i believe, like around march!

Current beverage: Diluted Pepsi and water.
Lesson learned: Don’t add too much ice in Pepsi and consume it before all of the ice melts. Or place the drink in the refrigerator beforehand if lukewarm. Water and Pepsi mixed together taste insipid.
LOL, if you look at the Lipton 500 CM, even the way the girls came out in the beginning is exactly like HaHaHa, somebody at Lipton was too lazy to come up with an original idea. I’m not complaining though ’cause I like what I’m seeing.
Can definitely spot the resemblance between the two CFs’ with a few exceptions and alterations in the dance.
SNSD’s CFs are okay… but I’m not a huge fan of commercials. This applies to everyone endorsing a product on television.
except the korean mv did it 1000x better that its japanese CM counterpart, lol! this CM was all awkward and unflattering in more ways than one 😦

apparently, Lipton’s official site crashed just minutes after the released of the CMs. also Nestle CEO’s said that their sales quadruple within the last month after finding out SM’s SNSD will be endorsing Lipton along w/ “Mr. Taxi.” the CEO also went on to spazz about being a HUGE fan of Jessica and his daughter is a HUGE fan of Taeyeon (Taengoo as she was referred by the daughter), and they would like to partner up with SNSD on future Lipton endorsements.
Isn’t Lipton owned by Unilever? (I’m too lazy to check.) It’s probably not owned by Nestle as they own Lipton’s competitor Nestea.
Anyway, the repetitive “Let It Rain” chorus is so soothing, it reminds me of those famous Crystal Light commercials featuring Enya’s Orinoco Flow with the repetitive “sail away” chorus. (Too lazy to look it up on youtube).
I still maintain that “Let It Rain” could have made an awesome first all-English song for the girls. Can anyone help identify which members they hear in the chorus?

Oh wait. Are you being serious about this info about the CEO and his family being SONEs? I thought it was a joke (Nestle being the wrong company, and the fact that sales did not merely increase, no, they… QUADRUPLED within just a month).
I thought it was just one of those exaggerated press releases that masquerade as news stories. You know, the ones about how a particular group dance is a “hot topic” and this or that idol is receiving “love calls” from PDs and sponsors. Oh, and this gem from a Soshified translated news item “SNSD, who all loved to drink Lipton from before, ….”
Some times we’re such big fans we lose sight of the meaning of the things we write. Fan is short for fanatic, and fanatics aren’t the most logical and reasonable people in the world.
hahaha…………….anyways started singing it watching the first cf. moving on all of them look pretty. the second by far is my fav. they looked great, no one does a sexy star like hyo imo. i guess let it rain is the next pv because whatever song used as cf becomes the next pv. ex kara n tvxq. i cant wait for the solo shots and the pv.

Am I the only one not liking it, then? The colours have been overdone and it makes the girls look like they’re wearing fake tan… doesn’t seem to be much value or effort gone into the CF either.
It doesn’t reflect as well on the girls as other stuff.

i got it from KSones, which usually are pretty reliable…but then again korean media can manipulate stories and such so you never know, lol?! anyways, i also heard about another E-ma (the throat lozenge CM they endorse back in Februray) CM endorsement stuff SNSD’s gonna do. Japan’s 7Eleven franchise are also partnering up w/ SNSD for some supplies to be sold in stores like folders, filers, etc.
I have always loved lipton and now even more!!!
