Also, it should come as no surprise that these issues of Marie Claire are selling out very quickly. It has been reported that copies featuring Seohyun on the cover have already sold out, followed by those which feature Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany and Yoona on the front. Any remaining issues will probably be snapped up by the time I finish writing this post… hah!

K-SONEs, there are nine reasons as to why you may want to purchase the next issue of Marie Claire Korea. And when I say nine reasons, I mean it… literally!
Jessica Special Edition Cover
For the first time ever, each member of SNSD will individually grace the cover of the May special edition – visually representing the concept of “purity”, as stated by a stylist for the magazine (hrmm this person maybe?)
The issue will be available on the 20th of April, and it is expected that fans will have to battle it out to obtain the cover they want. Good luck on getting hold of all nine, K-SONEs.

I can well imagine the EPIC “struggle” that will take place at the local news-agents when these are out for sale 😀 😀 😀 !!! Marie Claire will make TONS of money from the May issue sales alone 😉 !!! What a Smart marketing move on their part 🙂 ! But, in all seriousness, the 9 ladies do look GORGEOUS here 😀 !!!

Yuri and Sunny could’ve done better imo. Jessica, Yoona, Seohyun and Tiffany, on the other hand, look decent. Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, and Taeyeon pretty much nailed it for me! Disappointed Tiffany didn’t look as ravishing as she did in the Cosmopolitan Magazine. Here’s the link to refresh your memory.

Wow, just… wow.
This is… by far, the best looking photo-shoot to date, in my opinion.
I find this photo-shoot to be particularly atypical of the general tastes and preferences of most consumers, instead going for an altogether different approach when it comes to colour, dress design, and overall appearance. It focuses on many pivotal points which, to be honest, is a damn good number to reason with, so I won’t for brevity’s sake.
Reminds me of a dark, mysterious, affluently otherworldly look…

i notice that Sunny isn’t very photogenic…most of the close up shots i’ve seen her doesn’t really look flattering but she’s still cute. yuri looks different in this one too, too much photo shopped? my picks are: seohyun, yoona, taeyeon, jessica, fany, sooyoung, and hyoyeon.

I was quite surprised that Seohyun’s issue was sold out first. And from what i’ve read, her’s sold out way earlier(10-15 hours~) than Taeyeon’s(2nd to sell out). i would have expected Jessica or Yoona to go first. Our maknae is finally getting the attention she deserves. JIGUMUN SEOHYUN SHIDAE!!!

Where did they get a relatively large number of Korean men dressed up in classy tuxedos’, donning Indiana Jones’ fedoras and jet black sunglasses, and sporting that waxed and side-brushed hairdo? Possibly a photogenic recreational effect from Adobe Photoshop or any other editing program the South Koreans are using these days.
But I have to say, I’m lovin’ the Noir black and white effect used on the male models. Reminds me of Fat Tony from the 1930s’.
