So there’s no doubting the power of K-pop in Europe, as SMTown Live ’11 in Paris has sold out!!!

With S. M. Entertainment’s lineup of artists including TVXQ, Super Junior, SHINee, f(x) and of course, Girl’s Generation; all available tickets to the event were snapped up in less than 15 minutes!

Hit the jump for the breakdown.

Tickets went on sale at 10:00am, April 26th

  • Pit seats (51€ each), VIP packages (89.50€ each), and soundcheck packages (221.50€) sold out immediately.
  • Category 1 seats (67.50€ each) sold out within fifteen minutes
  • Prestige tickets (111.50€ each) sold out in four minutes

Here’s the seating plan if you’re curious about the differences between the ticketing:

I hope for the sake of those with the honest intention of going to the concert, that the tickets were distributed fairly, and that it wasn’t only scalpers who got a hold of them. However, there is already news that tickets can be found on auction sites with inflated prices… sigh.

Any readers from France or Europe, let us know if you managed to get a hold of some tickets and will be attending the concert below.

Tidbit: Where I’m from, pit tickets or the standing area in front of the stage are normally one of the most expensive tickets you could buy.
