Recently, Rino Nakasone tweeted ENDo Jidai performing SNSD’s Oh!, Hoot, and Genie. EnDo Jidai is a cosplay group, a type of performing art where the cast dress up in costumes to represent a specific character. With the Soshi wave being so strong, they couldn’t pass up the opportunity to “cover” our girls’ dance moves.
The leader of Endo who is a male, even wrote on his blog about the performance and how Rino performed with them. Check it out here! It’s all in Japanese though so if anyone could provide a translation that be great!
Here’s the performance:

Talk about being animated and so powerful on stage. Love it!

Black guy in high heels. LMFAO
By Flo on 2011/02/04 at 2:08 am
Wauw. Respect for those guys dancing on high heels :’)
By Doowdoow on 2011/02/04 at 2:11 am
IS THAT A MAN IN WOMEN’S CLOTHES? OH GOD THE HORROR.
As for the performances, they were executed exceptionally well. A little bit of exaggeration here and there, but it only augments to the overall presentation, which I feel is better than great. With smooth interjections in each individual song and seamless dancing, I find it perfectly fine to watch and enjoy, as with most SNSD covers on the internet.

Now, I feel the dance has lost its luster and looks stupid all of a sudden.
I can’t dance for nuts so what I gave above is given to any dance video regardless of whether it has flawless grace or is simply professional amateur-ish. Depending on what is actually happening however.
Aside from the “blatant exceptions”…
By Terrez on 2011/02/05 at 7:40 am
Oh God! …
Besides being grossed out…It actually wasn’t that bad haha!
Even though they are guys…Or is there a few girls…?
Oh I can’t tell!
By mhun2013 on 2011/02/04 at 2:38 am
There’s two LOLs in this article: The guys. The purple-texted sone in “Nakasone” xD xD
By Mr.P on 2011/02/04 at 3:39 am
They look like they moonlight as a drag queen group too, so they’re probably professional stage people.
By CronoDroid on 2011/02/04 at 3:52 am
fierce. lol
By calz0ne on 2011/02/04 at 3:58 am
They might have had me for a moment… until I saw the tall black guy! XD

By John on 2011/02/04 at 5:07 am

Wow, some of the comments here are really sort of unpleasant. Despite that, though, this group is awesome! 😀 So fierce.

By jelly on 2011/02/04 at 3:10 pm
i guess this post would be better for those who are going WTF @ Endo, the black guy.
By anon on 2011/02/04 at 3:11 pm
what does this have to do with SNSD, or black ppl? =_=
By junpyo21 on 2011/02/05 at 9:19 am
What is This?? -_-
By PrincessHyo on 2011/02/04 at 3:48 pm
Definitely an interesting dance cover, though all of those dancers seem really experienced. 4:26-4:40 was pretty awesome, as a youtube comment pointed out.
By Narncakes on 2011/02/04 at 4:03 pm
are they a man or woman or mixing??
By lupi on 2011/02/04 at 4:52 pm
LMAO
By Herro on 2011/02/05 at 7:44 am

By kevz.. on 2011/02/04 at 7:16 pm
Oh man my eyes was on that black guy… his movements are too fast… LOL!
By geeoh on 2011/02/04 at 8:14 pm

By SoShi4eva on 2011/02/04 at 8:41 pm
It’s so creepy, yet so amazing.
What to do… what to do…
By Nasty on 2011/02/04 at 11:14 pm
although exaggerated, the dancers were sooo good and had all the moves perfectly down pat. super fun to watch 🙂
By elizabeth on 2011/02/04 at 11:36 pm
I know we’re all SONEs….but does anyone else find the above image really disturbing
By Alex on 2011/02/05 at 2:41 am
I DO.
By ILOVESOOYOUNG on 2011/02/05 at 1:31 pm
omo they’re gayy right?? lol
By jessi123 on 2011/02/05 at 6:38 am
Maybe not gay…but theyre pushing the boundaries of transvestites/fashion
By Alex on 2011/02/07 at 4:10 am
I don’t like it. At all.
They exaggerate their moves, it’s not graceful at all.
Emphasizing moves too much, make them look like clowns.
By NemCi on 2011/02/05 at 6:55 am
I think they did a great job. Quite unconventional and an excellent tribute to the girls.
By Lu on 2011/02/05 at 7:16 am
Hahahaha had a great laugh, hope the girls see this 😀
By Eunil on 2011/02/05 at 8:38 am
Hey i know this is just like every other rumour people have heard and such but apparently March 8th is the new release date given for the “3rd Single – Oh!” in japan! apparently the release date is printed on snsd’s sm town 2011 tokyo leaflets or flyers!
By Silken Floss on 2011/02/05 at 8:41 am
the black guy is the leader, Endo?? Whoohoo! black ppl hwaiting! ^_^ (im black)
they’re pretty good. too bad SNSD doesnt use back up dancers that often (since there’s already nine of them lol). but if they ever need backup dancers for solo’s or something, these guys would know the moves already.lol
By junpyo21 on 2011/02/05 at 9:16 am
They dance really good, but i feel a bit uncomfortable with the photo of them.
By Marie on 2011/02/05 at 1:57 pm
Can you guys remove this photo??This is really annoying everytime i search into this website -.-
By Shau on 2011/02/06 at 1:52 am
hahah Could not agree with you more! It’s really freaking me out!
By Alex on 2011/02/07 at 4:10 am
my third time watching this, the dancing part was awesome (although it’s exaggerated) 🙂 i wonder if SNSD could be as energetic as this group XD haha kidding. i like SNSD’s dance the way it is.
By coffee on 2011/02/06 at 5:58 pm
I don’t see anything wrong with people cosplaying and performing a dance cover of SNSD. Hey, guys (like me) dance to SNSD all the time, just not in public. xD The exaggerated movements made this an original and funny cover, and I doubt this was meant to be totally serious. Some parts were more disturbing than usual, but overall it was fun to watch. Like the arrow dance part. XD
By Kevin on 2011/02/07 at 9:50 am
lol… SNSD legs are still the best!
By nobody on 2011/02/07 at 8:58 pm
wow! Its really firce!
But a little funny…
In the HOOT perf they were very technical, they lose the charisma, its kind of rude >.<
But they dance very well ^^
By Nina on 2011/02/08 at 1:39 am
There’s actually 3 guys and 6 girls not 2. The 3rd guy is behind the black guy in the picture. Just saying. AHAHAHA. Also in the vid, you can also see that he has very flat chested. :v
By ROFLCAKES on 2011/02/08 at 8:19 am
I LOVE IT!
By patenten on 2011/02/11 at 1:40 pm
