A picture of the girls have recently surfaced on the net. In the picture, the girls are seen with stunning shades 3D glasses as they crowd together in front of a screen along with staffs. Many people speculate that this picture was taken at the scene where the girls were/are filming the remake of their “Genie”/”Tell Me Your Wish” music video for their upcoming debut in Japan.

The 3D glasses makes people believe that the remake might possibly be in 3D or at least there might be a 3D version. If you recall, there were rumors before about James Cameron, the director of the 3D movie, “Avatar,” speaking with SME and having plans to work on SNSD’s music videos and concert for Samsung. Regardless, nothing is confirmed yet and maybe Cameron has nothing to do with what is believed to be the “remake.” It is quite exciting though to think about. If there does happen to be a remake of “Genie”/”Tell Me Your Wish” in 3D, I’m ready; still have my 3D glasses from watching “Despicable Me” in 3D (;

Too bad that we would need a 3d tv to watch the mv in 3d.
unless its recored with the dual colored lens wich i’m sure its not, judging by the foto its stereoscopic.

It sound like that it is the remake of genie done by a team, Pace HD. It is not sure whether Pace HD is related to James Cameron but it’s sure that this team was involved in filming Avatar. And of course the samsung electronic has been involvled too, and they have announced that they will distribute this, not only SNSD’s 3D genie but also BoA’s PV, to the consumer who buy a Samsung’s 3D TV. Only in Korea? No, all consumers in the world. It means if you buy a Samsung 3D TV in the bestbuy shop, you will get a free (maybe) DISC of SNSD’s 3D genie PV.
I’m not sure if this is 100% sure but this has been reported by a korean newspaper.

oh man, i was hoping snsd would be set themsleves different from the other girl groups by producing a new song for the japanese market instead of recycling (a great) song…., a bit disappointed.. but neverless excited for a new 3D mv!!!!

Hm…Even though TMYW is recorded in 3D, you can’t watch it on 3D TVs with the glasses from the cinema, right? Still, it will be awesome to watch it in 3D, if I get the opportunity. Love Jessica’s facial expression there x3 P
