A while back, Kim Yuna did a performance to Run Devil Run at the 2010 Festa On Ice. Another ice routine featuring a Soshi song is now out, so let’s cross our fingers to see more in the future! On the 23rd of July, Vancouver Olympic bronze metalists Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy performed their own routine at the 2010 All That Skate Summer event in Korea, this time to Gee!
The beginning of Gee being played over the rink prompted the crowd to start cheering before the routine even started, and some of our girls’ choreography was (awkwardly) hinted at as well. Check it out!
It looks like the influence of our girls is certainly spreading, but I’m still hoping for an ice routine with like.. 9 performers.

Are you referring to the one in Lotte World? that was done with a white mat on the ice (no skates). =/
SNSD have already performed on an ice rink before. All 9 members performed Oh! on the ice rink so as to commemorate Korea’s success in the winter Olympics 2010.

I wasn’t referring to their dance routine on ice, I meant figure skating, musical, etc. and not necessarily the girls performing (sorry if I wasnt’ clear enough).

They’re Russian. =)
They represent Germany. Aliona was born in Ukraine and Robin in Germany. Aliona obtained German citizenship in 2005.

i know it’s just an exhibition, but looks like the guy wasn’t that into it. nice work on the throws, though, and on the music selection of course.

Holy smokes. Looking at them skate makes me want to pick up ice skating myself.
