Well, a LA company just recalled 80k children’s jackets. But what does 80k mean to SNSD?..
It’s the number of pre-ordered albums. Check it out
So Nyuh Shi Dae is garnering a lot of attention with the new ‘Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)’ after their ‘Gee’ Syndrome. A dedicated uncle fan and his unique fandom led to a beautiful donation.
On the past June 28th, the birthday of So Nyuh Shi Dae’s maknae Seohyun, an uncle fan who introduced himself as Im Changrok (30) donated 7 million won (approx. $5,500 USD) to the International Charity Association, World Vision then presented the receipt to Seohyun as a birthday gift.
Don’t you just love CodeMonMon? As many times as this dude has had to change his name cuz of deleted accounts, he always comes back to us fans and gives us something a little more. I’m glad he’s an SNSD fan cuz I can watch such great HD things that he’s whipped up.
Did I mention how much I love how Jessica and Tiffany say DJ together for the performances? It’s totally the part I wait for.
I believe I’m not the only one who disappointed by the not-living-up-to-the-hype choreography of Genie (소원을 말해봐). BUT, after seeing all three performances (and fancams!) of Genie, I actually started to appreciate love the choreography more and more.
The choreography is pretty fluid and definitely not as easy as it seems to be, imo. The legs dance is so cool! Well, it’s Rino Nakasone who choreographed this after all (oh yes, I still believe it’s her. I can see some Beat Freaks’ moves on Genie… even though it’s NOT as awesome and crisp, but somehow Genie reminds me of Beat Freaks’ Womanizer performance on ABDC. I can’t help to think that Genie was like the baby version of it! Or maybe I’m just being weird.)
A lot of people said that the choreo is a lil bit messy, but I think it’s because the choreography is meant to be seen in stationary view, like in fancams… not in multiple-camera view like in gayo shows. This Genie dance cover by “Boy’s Generation” can be an example how Genie is better viewed in stationary mode.
Sigh. Now I wish SM will release the dance version MV of Genie. :]
Har har, what I do to get people’s attention. Don’t deny it; you were interested
Yes, as these girls get older, they WILL be the next generation of MILFS; “MILFS Generation” if you will. Is that really such a bad thing?
But seriously, I don’t know why the girls are worried about the aging process, and how old age will only bring with it a fading away of interest. If you ask me, people have the mistaken notion of contrasting youth with maturity, and how the 2 are mutually exclusive.
Not so, if you ask me.
Yes, these girls aren’t getting any younger, but have they matured? I respond with a resounding Hellyeah! I still think that their music retains a freshness and youth that is coupled with more mature musical sensibilities; otherwise, their music would just continue to remain static, with no sense of musical adventure or growth. To put it in layman’s terms, they’re the shit.
In a totally unrelated point, the responses the girls gave to this parallel universe without SNSD is pretty interesting and definitely speaks to their individual characters. Check it.
They’ve become sexy. They’ve become mature. They’ve become ladies. When So Nyuh Shi Dae’s (Taeyeon, Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Tiffany, Jessica, Seohyun, Yoona, Sunny) 2nd mini album cover was released through the internet, the transformation of So Nyuh Shi Dae has heated up the online discussion boards.
It was because the refreshing and cute ‘national younger sisters’ So Nyuh Shi Dae has shown a 180 degree change in their appearance. However the So Nyuh Shi Dae that I got to meet still had their pure and youthful personality. They were ‘girls’ in everything they did, from joking with one another or laughing at a bug flying across the room. Continue reading
Okay, so while I was out, I THINK I asked myself if the album was coming out today… but then my friends brought up going to Jamba Juice and it goes blank from there. So I completely forgot till now about the album haha. Right now it’s midnight and I’m listening to the fifth song on the album… So I’ll be writing this review on my first listen to the mini-album.
Okay, not really. Our girls were just MCing for a festival and three TVB celebrities were there. Kevin Cheng, Charmaine Sheh, and Tavia (it’s not tabia….lol i’m assuming typo in the subs or they didnt know) Yeung. Awesome, I love the three. 🙂 Now if you arent chinese, you’re probably lost..
Anyway, here are the clips and credits to soshisubs7.
