SNSD Takes the Triple Crown on MuBank!

SNSD have won the K-chart triple crown, marking their third consecutive #1 on Music Bank for ‘the Boys’!

 

Unfortunately, there was no WOO WOO!! encore the girls were not present to receive their trophy as they are currently on their way to the land down under for tomorrow’s K-pop Music Festival in Sydney.

Wonder Girls also made their comeback on tonight’s show; will our girls be able to win four times in a row next week? It’ll definitely be interesting to see how things pan out. :3

With the exception of Jess’ mic messing up at the beginning, today’s performance was pretty damn great. No nauseating 360 degree tumbles from the camera crew, the girls somehow make long johns sexy (no dress for Jessica today), and everyone’s vocals were flawless.

Yuri and Tiffany also returned as regular Music Core MCs this week! Look at those cat ears :3

The Boys Album 2nd on Oricon Charts!

I thought this was an interesting news bit…

SNSD’s 3rd album “The Boys” has charted second during the time frame of October 24 to October 30 in Japan!  With no promotional activities in Japan, the album sold a healthy 21,227 copies shooting them to second.  After November 5, however, there will be an import copy only available to the Japanese market!  Congrats to SNSD for another accomplishment in their long and growing list of accomplishments for this album!  The Power of 9 is definitely in full swing around the world!

Yet another tv spot for ‘The Boys’ was captured by a S♥NE with excellent timing! This time Girls’ Generation made a brief appearance on an E! News Youtube countdown where they surely raised eyebrows, sitting pretty at 3rd between Adele and Justin Bieber who were 4th and 2nd, respectively. Check out the short but totally sweet clip below!

It keeps happening and I’m in disbelief (but completely giddy) every time it does. I still can’t get over hearing ‘The Boys’ on the radio or how our girls are popping up in places I never imagined they would, let alone could.
