“Hoot” Album Japan Vers. Released!

For those who have been waiting for the “Hoot” Album Japan vers.,  they have finally been released today. 4 versions –‘Normal Edition’, ‘Limited Edition’ (ALBUM + DVD), ‘Limited Pressing’ (ALBUM + DVD), and ‘Deluxe First Press Limited Edition’ (ALBUM + DVD) — ranging from about $22.25-47.99, are ready to be bought in stores or shipped out.

The album consists of 11 Korean tracks (the 5 tracks from the original ‘Hoot’ mini album plus 6 bonus tracks from former SNSD’s albums –‘Hoot’, ‘Mistake’, ‘My Best Friend’, ‘Wake Up’, ‘Snowy Wish’, ‘Gee’, ‘Genie’, ‘Oh!’, ‘Run Devil Run’, “Show! Show! Show!’, ‘Be Happy’) and  although you might be thinking we have already heard them and the Japan vers. might be redunkulously overpriced, the album exclusively includes a DVD with the girls’ ‘Hoot’ music clip/mv & ‘Premium Show Case Live in Ariake Colosseum 2010.08.25’. The fact that there is an exclusive DVD has many Sones hyped up, especially Japanese Sones.

Fortunately, fans have taken pictures of the promotional displays at Shinjuku Tower record in Shibuya, Tokyo and the album itself for us to see.

A recent news program broadcasted about the girls’ predebut days and interviewed the awesome kid leader. Among the cuts of the girls’ predebut days, you can actually see young Jessica singing in Mandarin. I don’t know about you guys, but this is the first time I heard her sing in Mandarin and she sang amazingly in the foreign language!

It’s been reported that Wheesung, a well known R&B artist, will be lending his talents and writing the lyrics for a track on an upcoming SNSD album. This is big news because a) it’s Wheesung! Preview Them hereee

As you guys may have heard, the girls’ new repackaged album, Girls’ Generation Vol. 2 – Run Devil Run (Repackage), will be released  on the 22nd of March (tomorrow)! The album will consist all the songs of their second album, “Oh!”, plus the three new tracks –‘Run Devil Run’, ‘Echo‘, and ‘Star Star Star Acoustic Ver.’– and the two latter will actually be released through UFO KOREA at 8 AM KST (which fans need to call in to hear it) according to chichinhu@twitter. So who is excited?
