If you’re like me and watch Gee hourly daily then you’d know that the official music video on S.M. Entertainment’s channel has been creeping ever closer to 50 million views. It was just over six months ago that I shared a post on the success of Hoot along with all other official SNSD videos. At that point in time Gee had just exceeded 36 million views. Today, as I’m writing this article, the video has 50,020,804 views!!! S♥NES, get loud!!!

The video holds several honors as well, including #1 – Most Viewed (All Time) – Music – South Korea, #1 – Top Favorited (All Time) – Music – South Korea, and #1 – Top Favorited (All Time) – South Korea.
And if you’re wondering how SNSD’s other music videos are faring I’ve got good news!
In February:
‘Oh!’ – over 31 million
‘Run Devil Run’ – just under 20 million
‘Hoot’ – over 10 million
‘Tell Me Your Wish’ – over 6 million
Today:

Mr. Taxi was uploaded in April, and it has ALREADY over 21 000 000 views! I’ve noticed that the view count rise EXTREMELY fast!
Out of all SNSD’s MVs, it seems that Hoot has been doing less good than the others (genie too but that was reuploaded….(as well as gee btw)), but Hoot with Japanese subtitles has almost 10M views which is extremely good, since it’s just for the Japanese people.
I can’t watch it on youtube anymore . . .
