As we all know, Kpop seems to be growing bigger and bigger these days! Recently, our Brighter than Jewels Tiffany made a short appearance on the History Channel program “South Korea: A Nation to Watch”. Being one of the two members who can fluently speak English (the other being our Ice Princess Jessica), she spoke about the globalization of Kpop music and how the internet has helped to make the music readily available to Kpop lovers worldwide. Looks to be another daebak for Kpop! SNSD fighting!

I stop watching History Channel and they air this. Trolls I tell you…trolls…

So… very… true.
All you get are repeats of world war f*cking two and some other historical crap. Those guys at History channel really need to step up their game if they want to draw more viewers, but they back-stab us with this little clip. What arse-like behaviour.
Other than my little rant, this 40 second clip was well worth the watch.

This is a great post! Awesome to see that Korea is getting attention in the US and that SNSD in particular gets to speak about it.

I don’t think the background is their comeback track, i was watching the documentary and i don’t think i heard anything other than Run Devil Run and Hoot. Of course, i could be wrong, wasn’t paying much attention to anything other than Tiffany’s voice 🙂

Man … Thta’s called recognition ..
Soon hereafter, our girls may be featured by National Geographic or others outside the entertainment channels.
Well I personally think, the Hallyu deserves to be covered in a special program by these channels

i watch it last night..
telling u..from the moment it start..already our fanny made some impact..
she appear twice…one very short when it just started..and the other one about half and hour later..
and for the entire documentary, from start to the end, it fill with run devil run clip..
they did mention about kpop, wonder girls and SNSD…that there is no single clip showing other groups..rather than SNSD..
somehow that made me proud!
hehehe..

If your even remotely familiar with kpop then you have most likely already aknowledged the YG sensation that is BIG BANG. Im not saying other kpop groups in Korea are any better like SUPER JUNIOR…

Guys, I don’t think it was on History channel in the U.S. I did a Google search to see if I could find it and watch it and all the titles said, “Tiffany on History Asia’s ‘South Korea: A Nation to Watch.'”
