No doubt was the girls’ first tour of Asia a great success. This July, the girls’ second tour is going to kick off.
The first concerts will be held on July 23rd and 24th at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. According to Sportschosun’s article, after the concerts in Seoul, the girls will likely hold concerts in Taipei (Taiwan), Nanjing (China), and other major Asian countries. They will captivate the audience with their colorful charms, outstanding vocals, brilliant performances, and mature stages.
Ticket reservations for the coming concerts in Seoul will begin online on June 7 at 8pm via the site G Market (http://www.gmarket.co.kr). This time around, the concerts in Seoul will have a special family section for those who want to go see the concert with their family members; tickets for 3-4 person families will go on sale on the 7th at 10am on a first-come first-serve basis.
I bet the concerts in Seoul will be sold out in minutes like the ones from their first tour. I hope this year, there will be surprises. I wish they would hold a solo concert in America haha. By the way, doesn’t the way some of the girls dress in the above picture look familiar?

Show! Show!” & “Be Happy!” 🙂 i, however, do think they should have another concert tour after the release of their upcoming korean effort!

The dates were probably revised.
The countries listed sounded like the plausible (major) Asian countries.

If this materializes, wouldn’t it be so cool 😉 ?!! Maybe then, I can take the opportunity to do a “shout-out” for snsdkorean to the 9 ladies and tell them about the immense support and love that they have from here :).
It’s actually plausible for the tour to extend till Singapore and Thailand (possibly Vietnam?) for SEA. Can’t say the same for Malaysia though, not after what happened to Avril Lavigne. *facepalm* I have to say though, this promotional picture looks more polished than that of their first tour. Whatever happened to the “indefinitely” postponed tour in Bangkok last year?
I’m also hoping for Singapore to be in it. But I have Os this year… DX So I’m like really praying it’ll be either in december or early next year… If I miss this I’m gonna be devastated…

for the second tour, i hope more solo stages for taeyeon, tiffany and yuri got 2 solo stages because i impressed with their previous solo stage on the first concert…i’m actually looking forward on their solo stage because this is the only way they can show us their vocal and dancing talent to their fan…like yuri 1..2..3 solo stage was given positive reaction..LEE HYORI impressed by yuri solo stage, eunhyuk SJ called her the most sexiest in snsd (night star)…so why not giving them more solo stages?
as for now, i’m looking forward on their first japanese tour concert…rumours said jessica will playing piano for her solo stage..

Is this the same Olympic Stadium used for Dream Concerts and SMTowns? Can that be right? If true, what other Korean acts have been big enough to have concerts at such a large venue (for two consecutive nights!)?
With Music Bank in Tokyo on July 13, what Korean song will the girls sing on that show, considering their last release (Hoot) will be over 8 months old at that point? Wouldn’t it be a great gift to K-Sones to have a Korean version of Mr. Taxi ready by then, which they can use at their concerts later that month. (I’m sure the July 23-24 concert-goers would love to see a performance of Mr. Taxi, but SNSD is unlikely to sing in Japanese to them).
Yea, 50k+ capacity Olympic Stadium, although they might configure the seating to shrink the capacity so everyone gets a closer view, quite honestly a vast majority of the Dream Concert/SMTown seats are nosebleed. Only other artist I know that can command that kind of crowd is TVXQ, they did sell out the Tokyo Dome for two nights and 100k+ people.
With no new Korean material, I think the girls might be sticking with Hoot Korean version, as they’re still in the middle of their Japan tour and promoting Hoot isn’t a bad idea since Hoot Japanese version is on their new album. For their 2nd Asia tour, it would be interesting to see how it is going to be different from their first, there’s limited amount of material in Korean that’s not been performed in the 1st cocnert, basically everything RDR and later. I think they will definitely incorporate their Japanese catalog into the set (TVXQ has done plenty of Japanese songs in their Korea/Asia tour concerts if that’s any indication).
As mentioned by a commenter above, I’m really looking to the new batch of solo stages. Didn’t the girls say they had direct input for their stages for the ITNW concerts? So I’d love to see what the girls could individually come up with. I want to see what English song Tiffany will tackle next. I want to see what sexy performance Yuri will come up with that prompted Lee Hyori to say that she saw a future for Yuri as a solo.
I had no idea that TVXQ’s Korean concerts featured Japanese songs, because I always thought that they had more than enough Korean material. I remember reading about the Japanese occupation of Korea, and how Japan tried to impose Japanese on the population, and how some from the professional classes in Korea embraced Japanese to the point where they would speak Japanese in their own homes. For some reason, I thought that the idea of a Korean group singing in Japanese to a Korean audience would have been frowned upon.
I probably exaggerated a bit when I said “plenty” of Japanese songs in TVXQ’s Korean/Asia tour, I know they included a handful their most iconic Japanese hits but the majority of the concerts were still in Korean as they do have a ton of Korean material. Singing in Japanese in Korea is frowned upon but it’s a concert (not a televised public event) and the audience are their die-hard fans that really don’t mind, those songs more or less serve as crowd pleasers or fan service, kind of ike SNSD doing Kissing You at almost every concert because it’s easy and fun to sing along even though it’s a really old song.

I didn’t recognize Yoona in the Korean RDR MV when it first came out, but now, I can hardly believe that the woman with the green top is actually Tiffany herself.
I didn’t think it would be possible for her to transition between many beautiful forms (cute, mature, sexy, take your pick), whether be it the right amount of makeup applied or the outfit worn. It’s amazing how much smokey makeup and blood-red lipstick can really transform her looks and appear like a different person altogether.
