I don’t believe there’s any intention for their concept to be related to Kill Bill. Taxis (aka Yellow Cabs) are famously yellow & black, at least in the U.S. I know it’s different in other countries (ex. red in Hong Kong).
Exactly, the intention was for the girls to look like cabs. And kill bill copied Bruce Lee’s tracksuit in enter the dragon.
Yes, Kill Bill did copy the color scheme from Bruce Lee but the movie was actually Game Of Death.

Because the song sounds so refreshing, I am anticipating something new to the mv… Probably a storyline where the girls get to say things in dialogues, or them cruising down the city on a luxurious taxi or something… That’ll be interesting to watch ! But yeah, since it’s Soshi, we can’t leave out the dancing part, can we ? 😀 But I wish Soshi has more acting scenes in their mv (in my opinion)

Although I’ve been waiting for the day Yuri got blonde hair, I’m not really sure how I feel about it. Regardless, they all look so hot!! The black leather outfits are extremely sexy and the yellow ones match the taxi concept very well. Hyo and Seohyun really stood out imo.

Normally, I would conjure up a distasteful joke about real occupations, but I’ll let it pass.
Personally, all thanks to PeachBlossom for finding the extended teaser video and a news reel dedicating a part of it’s daily run to showing us the preview of the much-awaited MV SONEs’ have been waiting for. I didn’t think the ladies could get any more ravishingly sexier in “Mr. Taxi” than with their previous music videos, setting the bar higher in terms of cosmetic value. Then there’s… never mind.
So far, although the MV surpasses others in in terms of visual aspects from what I can see in the previews, along with the unmistakable thrill of listening to a really upbeat “Night club-esque” song. I can’t put my finger on which aspect of the song appears to be lacking in the MV.
Still, I shouldn’t judge the song entirely before it even gets released. Guess we’re going to have to wait till’ April 27th.
