So remember this post, and the possibility that our girls could star in their very own Japanese drama? Well, it looks like it isn’t happening anymore!
On February 2nd, SM Ent had a phone conversation with Money Today Star News and stated that there was no plan in casting the girls in a drama anymore. The representative also added, “As SNSD will be focusing on domestic activities, there is no plan for them to star in drama.”
This could be a good thing since with the girls already have such tightly packed schedules, a drama is something that can be held off for now. I’m sure down the road there will be plenty more offers! I certainly wouldn’t call this a bad piece of news.

Even though I would be DYING of happiness if they were starred in a drama, I’m happy that SM is sayin no. The girls have packed schedules as it is! Fighting SNSD~ Saranghaeyo
I just want them to focus on their Japanese album plans for now =D

That’s good news. I don’t want SM to take advantage of the girls popularity in Japan.
They know that the girls are too busy and don’t want them to work like crazy at least.
The last thing I want is for SNSD to invest too much time in Japan like KARA does.
I think the main priority now is making sure they have enough rest (Like/Or having a nice day out after work to do whatever) before continuing their activites. It may not look like it, but I think they look more worn out than meets the eye, so the rest is more than welcome. On another note, alleviating some of the tension from their schedule doesn’t sound like a bad idea at all too.
Oh yeah, Happy Lunar New Year.

It’s good also to give them a break and rest….

Yeah, I suppose this is a good piece of news to start off the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit 😀 ! The girls SORELY need the rest/break from their punishing schedules and I’m so GLAD that SM Entertainment realises that to a certain extent ;). Awww!!! I was really looking forward to it: imagining what it would be about, who would play who…lol! Well, I guess them focusing on music in stuff would be good too! And more rest for the girls=happy sones!
a tempting offer, but like everyone’s already wishing for…the girls need this break! i read a fan commenting about how japan wants SNSD more than SNSD wants japan, and it certainly seems to be the case. i want them to solely focus on their first japanese album because all of us are anticipating it already.
