The MV of Taeyeon’s OST track was released a few days ago, but the official audio and instrumental versions have just been released earlier today. Coincidently, today is also the day of the SBS drama’s, ‘Athena: Goddess of War’ ‘s, first broadcast.
According to Nate, Mtstarnews, and Fanwonder, “I Love You” was composed by the well known composer and lyricist, Ahn Youngmin –the same person who also composed Taeyeon’s and The One’s duet, “Like A Star”.
On his minihompy, Ahn Youngmin praises Taeyeon for her singing ability and how she is able to put her emotions into the song. He writes,
“This is the second time I work with Taeyeon and it’s amazing to see that she handled the song really well. I was worried that the song might be too matured for her but when she started singing, my tears started to fall”.

With her participation in the SBS drama’s, ‘Athena: Goddess of War’s, OST, she has now sang OST solos for all 3 of Korea’s main broadcast channels.

Can I say that this was so expected from Taeyeon? :] Her solo tracks are always amazing. I’m glad that ‘I Love You’ is already topping music charts when it was just released today. Please remember to support ‘I Love You’ and ‘Athena: Goddess of War’, especially the former. Hopefully, we get to see Taeyeon sing the track live soon.
(…and now I shall put ‘I Love You’ on replay and go back to studying for my finals x])

When I first stumbled upon SNSD (back in November), I thought “wow, one of these girls has a really touching voice”… and now my mp3 player is full of singles/solos, OSTs and covers by Taeyeon.

have you listened to the other girl’s OSTs?? They are pretty good to, Tiffany (By Myself), Seohyun (It’s Okay Even If It Hurts), and etc? I’m glad you stumbled upon SNSD…. cuz their so cute. lol. (and talented)
I found a couple of Tiffany’s OSTs (By Myself, Banji/Ring), but I wasn’t aware Seohyun did any… I’ll have to look that up. (I do know SH is talented at playing the piano though ;D)
The first song I heard Taeyeon sing was ‘Aein Issoyo’ (I have a lover), when Kangin goaded her to sing live on ChinChin… but I assumed she was just a talented DJ.
I stumbled upon SNSD much later, but the girl DJing and the ‘valkyrie’ who dominated the Japanese version of Genie looked nothing alike so I didn’t draw the connection immediately…
But yeah… my supposed friends received a good berating for not introducing me to SNSD earlier lol…
