Following the devastating floods in Thailand that began October 10 and continued into November with the death toll rising high above 100, the Korea-Thailand Communication Centre has announced that a myriad of Korean celebrities have donated goods to help raise money at the Korea Music Festival 2010 which is to be held in Bangkok from November 30 to December 5.
Alongside SNSD who have donated to the cause, these Korean celebrities include Lee Minho, Lee Joonki, Lee Jungjae, Lee Dahae, Ha Jungwoo, Kim SunA, Kim Raewon, Jo Hyunjae, Gong Yu, Kang Hodong, Lee Soogeun, Super Junior, Brown Eyed Girls, TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin and many others. Directors Pyo Minsoo and Yoon Sukho have also made contributions.
By early November a quarter of the country was under water.
It is good to see celebrities setting a good example and doing their best to help others in need. It reminds me why SNSD are more than just idols; they are role models too.
Through this event, the Ministry of Culture Thailand aims to raise enough to bring aid to 3 million people affected by the floods. Let’s hope that the donations made can be of help, and let’s all keep the victims in our thoughts.

its amazing how they can support other countries when korea is under a grave threat from n. korea. we should all pray for the safety of all korean citizens and hopefully no war will ever set put in their lands.

On Topic: This is one reason out of a myriad of reasons why foreign relations is important; it’s amazing that a large number of Korean celebrities are able to lend out a helping hand in order to aid those in need, especially SNSD. Role models indeed.
